About this apartment rental
A delightful 2 bed apartment (53 sq m) with a large balcony (13 sq m) and stunning views of Villefranche bay and Cap Ferrat. It has a spacious salon with an open plan kitchen and doors on to the balcony.
The air conditioning system serves both the salon and the main bedroom.
It’s close to the beach (c.350 paces) and station – 5 minutes walk – and an easy 10 minute walk to the centre of Villefranche.
If two parties are sharing the apartment, you’ll have to toss for who gets which bedroom. The front one has a king size bed and access to the balcony; the back one is cosy – it takes a standard double, just – and has a window overlooking the courtyard garden. You'll love the luxury of The White Company bedlinen.
The kitchen opens on to the salon so the chef won’t feel isolated. It has all the electrical equipment you’ll need, including a Nespresso machine, toaster, gas hob and an electric oven. A fridge freezer gives ample space to store fresh food.
There’s a small library of books and maps on the local area, an assortment of DVDs, a large flat screen TV and internet access.
With the station being so conveniently close, you will hear the swish of electric trains as they pass but this stops for a good period at night. Mostly you’ll be serenaded by the sound of waves on the beach and the tinkling of halyards on the yachts in the bay.
No need for a car as the train service is brilliant! 10 minutes to the centre of Nice, 2 minutes to Beaulieu (with a good supermarket right next to the station), and on to Eze, Monaco and Menton, and 40 minutes to the Friday morning market in Ventimiglia.

Pat and George were excellent hosts! When we arrived to the property, George showed us around the apartment and gifted us some local bread and cheese. We truly enjoyed our stay at the property. It was perfect for 3 people. It took about a minute to walk to the train station, which was so convenient, and about 8 minute walk to get to the old town. We explored the old town and went to many of the restaurants - La Tavola and Les Garçons were our favourites! The apartment has a washing machine which was great since we stayed there a week. There were beach towels for us to use and an umbrella. We felt very safe and comfortable during our stay. We enjoyed having a coffee on the balcony in the mornings. I highly encourage everyone to stay here!! We will be coming back in the future!!

The apartment is a great location, beautiful view, very comfortable and clean. There was construction outside at the train station in the evening but it didn’t bother us too much. Pat and George were very helpful with recommendations and helping us set up a car to the airport. Our family of four loved our stay - hope to stay again in the future.

Very nice condo with a great view and a great location! Minutes to the train. Easy walk to the town with great restaurants. No complaints. We stayed a month! Hated to leave.

Beautiful setting and views, great location for access to train station and the lovely town. Not quite deluxe as described, bedroom 2 too small for the apartment to accommodate 4 adults comfortably and cleanliness of kitchen and bathroom was inadequate. Building work all around the apartment taking place day & night was a noise problem and whilst appreciating it was out of the hosts control, it would have been nice to have been warned & given the opportunity to consider if we wanted our booking to go ahead as sleep was severely impacted.
