Staff was friendly and helpful. Our room faced the lake on our sunny day of arrival and was very pleasant.
Altho we understand a restaurant expects to serve full meals, having driven for 5 hours from Brussels, we wanted only a light meal i.e. soup with an omelette, plain grilled meat or maybe a Cesar salad. But the beef and fish dishes we had were very good.

I liked: the size of the room and en suite; the view over the lake: the bed
I could have had a scary experience on arrival because they didn't respond to my estimated time of arrival with information about arrangements for checking in when the building wasn't staffed. Only because my French friend rang to ask about having something delivered to my room was I forewarned that I needed to phone the hotel to get instruction about access;.
Would like tea/coffee-making facility in the room.

Chambre trop petite, mansardé, on ne tient debout que sur 5m2, pas de bouilloire, une seule serviette pour 2 personnes.
