Good value for a short stay in Ohrid

Hosts are a very friendly, helpful and welcoming family. The room is in a 8 room family hotel. It is comfortable and quite large and has a nice balcony. Free parking in front of the hotel. It is good value for the price.

A little far from the center and the lake (20 min walk). The street is a bit busy and noisy.

I was disappointed on the first day of Ohrid trip

Unfortunately our bus was extremely slow and we arrived late around midnight and the owner couple gave us a second floor private room and she said tomorrow that room was not available and they will give us another room with shared bedroom, next day husband showed me the room but said price was changed and I gave him $50, waiting the $15 and I would move, he said I didn’t pay last night fee but I have paid already at the night, he was angry unreasonable so he closed the door and locked, he didn’t let me stay at the second night, I think he thought I would pay more and more, really very upset all day and I hardly found another room around, please expect rude service before you come to this apartment!

He should have given me the room he promised because he showed me that empty room..

Ohrid is nice place to visit, but we suggest not to save money on accomodation.

The price was attractive

The room was at the 3rd floor and the building has no elevator. The bed didn't look properly dressed (bed sheets was actually one sheet). The bathroom would need to be rejuvinated, at least with a proper size shower curtain. Private Parking Spots are actually not secured and facing the main road, we got some damages to our car.

Great deal for the price. The room met my expectations and was about 30 minutes walk to the lake.

The location was great - walking distance from the bus station in Ohrid. Also I told the hosts I could only stay one night as the bus to Tirana was only available for the following day. The hosts understood and I paid for just one night.

Very good stay

We got a free upgrade because all the rooms were not occupied. The bed was extremely comfortable and we had a nice view on the castle of Ohrid. The host was very friendly and made sure we had a comfortable stay

There was one little stove but there was not really a place to clean our pans after cooking which was quite a hassle. The lake is about a 20 minute walk from the accomodation.

Everything ok for the price, but shower was broken.

I liked that there was quiet, and the staff was okay. Air conditioner was nice, and beds were comfortable. The price was low, so it was ok.

I didn't like the place as it was far from the city centre and it was hard to find the hotel, but for the price, place is ok. The worst part was broken shower, please fix it.
