Excellent location. Breakfast and dinner was fantastic, food is really fresh with many varieties. Though is room and hotel is slighty old and dated, it is simple and clean. The outdoor onsen is fantastic, definitely enjoyed that more than the indoor onsen, which I felt is a bit stuffy. The ryokan is quite and feels really private, away from all the buzz. Complimentary coffee at the lounge is surprisingly good. Recommended!
The pillows are too hard, not what I would have preferred, there is some kind of beans/beads in it.

Tha whole experience was amazing from check in to check out. The room was spotless , the food brilliant and the hot spring so soothing. If we visot Japan again we will make another visot here.

The hotel was close to the train station
This is a very famous town for Onsens , however the Onsen of this hotel is very mediocre , small , simple , also the dinner was very mediocre with lots of cold jello type foods and only a small amount of meat with veggies in a hot pot , we were disappointed because we were looking for a better experience than that . My husband enjoyed the breakfast .
