Maria's Apartments

Dejlig beliggenhed med stranden tæt på. Dejlig have med stole, borde og solvogne. Rolige omgivelser. Fin rengøring. Meget hjælpsom og sød vært Maria.

Loved the location, right by the sea, be prepared to walk into the village as she is on the edge of it, however the space is great & lots of utensils to use. Maria is lovely she organised taxis and a space for parking. Nothing is too much trouble for her & she is always smiling & happy.

Wish there had been some cushions & the pillows were too hard for me. There was a sandwich toaster instead of an ordinary toaster. Also could have done with some more work surface next to the oven.

From arrival to departure everything was great - welcomed with a smile, fresh lemonade and watermelon. The smile was constant during our stay, Maria was genuinely interested in what our day had been like whilst ensuring we had all we needed or checking if she could help with anything. Room was as described - clean and spacious - serviced on daily basis which was great and an added extra. Location is fantastic - beach and supermarket literally on your doorstep, 10 minute walk into Kalives or 20 minute bus ride from stop less than a minute away to Chania. Everything that is needed for a relaxing break

A wonderful beachfront property with a beautiful, well-maintained garden that creates a relaxing atmosphere between the rooms and the beach. The owner and staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming,

We stayed in one of the backyard rooms. While it was spacious enough, it was extremely uncomfortable. The room was very humid and had a strong musty smell throughout our stay. There was only a tiny window, which provided almost no fresh air for a room of that size, making it feel poorly ventilated. The property appears quite old, and this room is in urgent need of renovation. The bathroom ventilation fan was also very noisy. At €135 per night, I expected a much better-maintained room. The price did not reflect the quality or comfort provided. It felt as though the owner was taking advantage of the area’s high tourist demand by charging premium rates for accommodation that falls well below that standard. I would not recommend staying in this room at the current price. In my opinion, it would only represent reasonable value if it were priced around €50 per night.
