Agriturismo Manetti

Het was huiselijk en persoonlijk. Het eten was heerlijk en de persoonlijke aandacht maakten het verblijf extra bijzonder.

It’s hard to single out just one highlight, because everything came together into a truly wonderful experience — from the accommodation and location to the service, the attitude, the atmosphere, and especially the homemade food at breakfast and dinner. We really enjoyed our stay; it was a relaxing retreat in the heart of nature, yet still easy to drive to Florence. This agritourismo site is highly recommended, and we would happily stay here again on a future trip to the Tuscany region. Thank you, Virna, for all your support and kindness.

Nothing in particular stood out as a dislike. We really enjoyed our stay, and it was all a memorable experience.

Fantastiskt trevlig familj som driver Manetti. Alltid tillgängliga, aldrig några problem och bara glada miner och stor hjälpsamhet. Rummet, poolen, stället var långt över förväntan och vi kommer gärna tillbaka. Vi kan inte riktigt förstå vilken tur vi hade som råkade hitta och boka Manetti.

Fotona på booking.com gav inte riktigt en rättvis bild över Manetti, det var bättre än vad bilderna visade.

The fact that there was no credit card facility after it was advertised on booking.com and we had no cash on us so therefore had to find transport to a town 5km away for an ATM which cost us €35 each way due to taxis not available in that area. The language barrier made it extremely difficult. Hotel did not offer to drive the short distance and it was too mountainous to walk, to the ATM and we feel that it shouldn’t have been up to us to find the money if it was their fault to begin with. Due to these problems we decided to pay then hire the driver to take us back to Florence because it was a difficult situation because we could not speak Italian which is another issue with Booking.com when they say “we speak your language “ , they don’t. If you travel here make sure you have lots and lots of €€€€€€ the food is extremely expensive and definitely have your own transport and preferably speak Italian as English is basically non existent. It was neither their fault nor ours but the situation was extremely uncomfortable. We stayed 1 night out of our 3 night booking and had a very restless night. We were not sure if it was a legitimate internet problem or they just wanted the cash. It was hard to tell. In our haste to get back to the city I left a $200 dress and a jacket behind. A big rush to get out.
