The evening food was nice, if pricey and the staff serving were lovely and charming. The pool was clean and in a nice setting. Money spinner Cooking class at 160 euros per person (yes you can eat it afterwards 😅 ) horse riding 60 euros to go up a hill and down a hill (horse kept on stumbling)

This was a bit of a disappointing stay as it was supposed to be the highlight of the trip. The room was fine but o guess if you’re paying 300euros a night in their luxury place you don’t expect a view of the bins. They have “special” guests generally Americans who pay for a private service which means if you’re not, you’re a bit under the radar in terms of importance and help. Didn’t respond to messages leading up and finally got a hurried call on day of arrival Apologetic but explaining that they’d had an event the weekend before and were busy. They have diversified a lot, great wine, great olive oil, farmhouse with food sounds good right family feel but then along with private clients you have kids camp being run on site with about 30 primary age kids descending in the pool for an hour each day. Merely pointing it out. They also have photographers with fashion models doing shoots from the grounds which is a bit annoying. It is in the middle of nowhere my fault perhaps I should have hired a car as we were a bit stuck in terms of catering for ourselves for lunch. They didn’t even know what bus stop I should get off at as I guess most arrive by car. We had a good time and the food was excellent but it hadn’t lived up to our expectations or previous reviews.

Breakfast was convenient and great. The staff was very responsive, and made omelets and coffee drinks upon request. The outdoor location was very pleasant and beautiful.

Geweldig mooie plek met fijne appartementen. Alles is lekker schoon en goed uitgerust. Goed restaurant en heerlijk zwembad. De gastvrijheid van de eigenaar en het personeel maken het af.
