Villa La Rosa by Interhome

We loved the property and the lovely, kind and considerate owners/hosts. The home was well appointed, clean and very comfortable. On several days, after traveling and exploring all day, we found that it was just as easy to cook for our group rather than managing restaurants, transportarion and more decisions. There were plenty of towels for indoor and pool usage. The pool is lovely and was enjoyed! The owners are so kind and gracious! They shuttled us into the village as needed until we picked up our rental car at the airport. Montelupo is a lovely town with great restaurants, top notch gelato and a wonderful Ceramics Museum! The train station is a short car ride from the villa and provides freedom to travel all over without worrying about a car, ZTL zones, or parking.

We loved Villa Bobolino! We were expecting a hot tub and would have enjoyed this daily, but it is used as an unheated kiddie pool. It is beyond the control of owners, but we weren't prepared for a lot of mosquitos.

The property is nicely located, you can easily use it as a base to do day trips and visit a lot of places It is equipped with all the things you could possibly need in terms if kitchen ware etc and it is very clean We could charge our car on the property which was very nice and useful Davide and his wife were friendly and helpful

This is no fail to the owners but be sure to check before exactly what you get in terms of facilities available. We were a group of 10 total and we thought we booked the whole villa which was not the case, it turns out we had booked only 4 rooms but it was nowhere clearly stated. Interhome and Booking were horrible and not helpful at all. Davide and his wife were absolutely great and we could still enjoy our holiday.

Lots of space, well equipped kitchen, fabulous pool. Quiet location. Comfortable beds. Very clean. We had a wonderful week with friends including 4 teenagers. There is also table tennis and a basketball hoop to occupy the kids. The owners live in the adjoining property and were very helpful.

No swimming after 8pm. We didn’t have a car. It said it was a 1km walk to supermarket so we planned to walk to get supplies but it is further than this and the road is extremely steep with no footpath. The owner will provide lifts to town which was very helpful for a small charge.

The hosts Davide & Licia were excellent & really looked after us, helping us with transport, restaurant reservations etc. Villa was great, lovely pool & gardens & all the facilities you could need, including a brilliant water cooler. Location works well too. Short train ride from the local town to Florence, we also explored to Pisa and the Italian west coast. Thanks Davide & Licia, you clearly take great pride in the villa and made a good stay really great, I hope we get to come back in the future.

Nothing we didn’t like, other than we would have loved to stay longer 😁
