Horncliffe room only accommodation

Great location

Very spacious and comfortable room with lots of thoughtful touches, good TV, USB charging points, good WIFI and copious tea/coffee making facilities. Very well situated with an excellent cafe directly opposite for breakfast and bus stops also. Altogether excellent

One thing that I was unsure about is this. The outer porch door is left unlocked and we were given a key to the inner porch door on arrival. This is fine. However during our stay we noticed that the inner porch door had often been left 'on the latch' or ajar. We felt compelled to lock it every time we went out as we didn't want to be responsible for anything being stolen. Many apologies if we caused an inconvenience by doing this.

The inside of the property is very modern and clean. It’s very convenient for all the amenities in the town, and there’s somewhere to have breakfast across the road.

It would have been nice to have a plug socket near the mirror in the room.

The room was immaculately clean, comfy beds and a decent size for two people for a few nights. To say you're next to a main road, it doesn't keep you up at night and isn't noisy. The parking spot is a bonus and Debbie was kind enough to let us use the parking spot prior and after checking out so we could go for a wander. The location is great, a minute walk to the Coop, 5 mins walk to the harbour if that then you're on the coastal paths to Bamburgh or Beadnell. The room was homely and Debbie was great with communication prior and during the stay. Would happily recommend and stay again. 😊

Initially, the shower was a bit tricky to sort with the temperature, either scolding or cold but we put it on eco and that seemed to work.
