The wooden floor was filthy got black feet ! This has been mentioned in previous reviews so would expect this to be a priority ! No mop to wash the floor !

A really lovely characterful cottage, with plenty of original features and quirky mirrors and light hangings. Lovely home from home feel. Beautifully clean and it had everything you could wish for in the kitchen. Perfectly situated in Seahouses, easy to access shops and restaurants/pubs.
The bed in the main double bedroom was uncomfortable so we had to move to the smaller double and the parking was very tight around the rear of the property, especially as today’s cars seem to be getting bigger and bigger. You have to parallel park up against the rear wall in order to leave the driveway free. There’s very little room to turn so we ended up reversing along the whole of the drive.

Very central to the town, comfy beds and very spacious
The downstairs floors were absolutely filthy - socks and feet were black, had to go buy some crocs to wear indoors. The cleaners did apparently come back but this didn’t make any difference. This was not ideal with two young children.
Kitchen - could have done with a few more basic items like a sieve for pasta and a bigger frying pan especially considering the house sleeps 6.
