Ci siamo trovati molto bene, la nostra stanza era abbastanza ampia, con un bel angolo cottura. Bagno molto bello e spazioso. Bellissima l'idea di farci trovare le brioches appena sfornate fuori dalla porta tutte le mattine, oltre a rifornirci il frigo e tavolo di altri prodotti... Bella anche la piscina, in una zona tranquilla in mezzo al verde. Il proprietario molto disponibile e simpatico

Appena arrivati siamo stati accolti da Marco che, davanti ad un buon caffè, ci ha fornito in maniera esaustiva tutte le informazioni utili al nostro soggiorno. Non solo, ci ha anche dato tanti consigli su cosa visitare nei dintorni e ci ha fornito un foglio da lui preparato con stampati nomi, indirizzi e numeri di telefono di ristoranti suggeriti.
La suite Francesca è super pulita e curata in ogni dettaglio e ogni giorno viene rassettata da delle gentilissime signore dello staff. La cucina è fornita di ogni utensile (anche moka e caffè) e il frigo è stato rifornito ogni giorno con le cose che consumavamo (yogurt, crostata, succhi, acqua, latte). Il panorama visibile era ciò che ci si aspetta da un soggiorno in umbria: monti, alberi verdissimi e cavalli al pascolo.
Nel caso in cui doveste perdere la cognizione del tempo, niente paura: Marco ogni mattina vi porterà i cornetti in camera lasciandoli fuori dalla porta in un adorabile cestino con una tovaglietta su cui è cucito il giorno della settimana.
Ci siamo goduti la piscina pulita, curata e immersa nel paesaggio e dotata di sdraio sulle quali stendersi anche di notte per ammirare le stelle.
La posizione del podere è comodissima per raggiungere in poco tempo Narni, il parco delle Gole del Nera e le cascate delle Marmore.
Il podere è stupendo nei suoi diversi aspetti. Abbiamo apprezzato tantissimo la cura con cui viene gestito. Torneremo sicuramente a guardare i colori di un'altra stagione ♥️

Abbiamo trascorso tre giorni di incredibile relax immersi nella natura e nell’incanto del podere. È stato come sospendere il tempo e lasciare da parte gli affanni della quotidianità. Il sole, il fresco della campagna e la piscina ci hanno regalato momenti perfetti anche nelle giornate più calde.
La nostra sistemazione indipendente era deliziosa: con un giardino privato affacciato su un campo di lavanda, svegliarsi e fare colazione lì era pura magia. Letti comodissimi, arredi curati e originali, una pulizia impeccabile: si percepisce l’amore e l’attenzione per i dettagli in ogni angolo.
Un ringraziamento speciale va a Marco, l’host, che ci ha accolti con grande disponibilità e ci ha raccontato con passione la storia del podere e della cura che dedica ogni giorno a questa splendida tenuta di famiglia. Un ragazzo fantastico che rende il soggiorno ancora più autentico e speciale.
Un soggiorno semplicemente fantastico, bellissimo, super! Torneremo sicuramente.

Nice property, nice view
Our welcome was terrible. When we remarked that we expected the booked Junior suite to be bigger (it is terribly crammed), Marco (I guess the son of the owner) just barked at us and lamented about all these people making bad comments on booking.com. He clearly has an issue with booking.com, but where did these negative comments disappear to? Makes you wonder.
As we were the only guests he upgraded us to a bigger room within the building -Thanks!
Unfortunately, the room turned out to be not very practical, as bed and bathroom are downstairs, while the wardrobe is inconveniently on an upper floor.
Breakfast we had to make ourselves (tea, cakes etc provided), even though on booking.com it clearly states that a sweet breakfast is served in the room -contrary to Marco’s repeated denial.
The photos on the website look fantastic and made us choose this accommodation. It shows as well, that the owners are aware of how it SHOULD be. But in reality the place has a not lived in and not properly cared for look. No flower pots, no cushions on hard metal garden chairs, no table clothes, no TLC. A real shame as the property and the location are pretty and quiet (except for all those barking dogs during the night). The common rooms (living, dining with fireplace, all so beautifully documented on the website) are off limits after 9.oo pm, so they can be used by the owners. That alone explains their attitude towards guests.
Podere Costa Romano lacks a good care taker, one who makes you feel WELCOME.
