Nereids Guesthouse is kind of like Hydra in miniature, with rooms and terraces connected by twisty-turny flights of steps. It's charming and beautifully presented. Our room was very comfortable, and the view from the terrace was superb, going right down to the sea. The location is great, too - at the end of a quiet, leafy avenue. The host was really helpful: he gave us some useful tips on places to visit and restaurants serving authentic Greek food - and, crucially, news about impending ferry cancellations!
We had to leave a day early, on account of the aforementioned ferry cancellations.

Great location, very friendly staff, helpful with information about attractions and restaurants around the island, the room was nice and clean, the bed comfortable and we loved hanging out on the little terrace which had a great mountain/sea view.
No wifi in the room - which was kind of our fault as we didn’t notice it wasn’t written in the description, but should consider adding on.
