Stunning view from our balcony overlooking the sea. Good food and ok breakfast.
Great with free parking.
I guess we came a bit off season so the rooftop bar was closed and only one out of two pools were open. The pool bar and beach bar was closed as well. So that was a little bit of a pity.

This is an amazing hotel, under-rated I think on Booking.com it should be at least 9 or 10. It has everything, even its own beach area which you pay a fortune for in most parts of the world. In an elevated position the views are stunning and it has sea views on 2 sides of the hotel so lots of sea view rooms and they are well worth whatever the extra is, you'll get a full-on direct view overlooking the sea and mainland. It had a lovely private beach and bar, nice sand and area to swim.
The atmosphere in the hotel was nice, very airy and modern, lounge areas overlooking the sea, good place to have a coffee. The lifts and rooms are also all very modern, beds were really comfortable, complimentary shower gels etc good, everything in the room you could want. Swimming pool area also did drinks and snacks. Restaurant area did snacks and drinks, evening meals. Breakfast was good and with one of the best elevated terraces on the island or anywhere frankly to sit and eat breakfast with views over the beach and sea. For 4 euro you can get a proper coffee from the bar to takeaway or drink there.
Lots of visitors to Poros seem to hire a car, mopeds or quad bikes to get around the island which is a good idea. I got a moped for a day.
To the other recent British reviewer who said she didn't like 5 euro for a taxi to the port, I'm not sure when you last got a taxi in the UK but you can't go anywhere in the UK in a taxi for 5 euro, that's about the minimum tip money you'd get away with not a taxi fare that anyone can make a living out of.
Only thing was a weird whirling sound in the back room, I couldn't work out where it was coming from, it would have kept me awake, I realised it was the fridge so I unplugged it, problem solved - that fridge may need replacing, the one in the front room made normal fridge sounds.

The location was good, the view was beautiful, the room was good. Good beds.
This is definitely not a 4 star hotel. Besides the room which was good, and the lounge downstairs the rest is tired and old, and some facilities are broken. The bathroom was old but adequate (tiles cracked in the shower), the safe in the room didn't work properly, the pool area was old and unkempt, the gym terrible. The beach and loungers also unkempt and a mess.
Its not all what you expect from the description. The staff grumpy. We were fine because all we wanted was the room.
Not a very Greek experience.
