Exceptional welcome from the cheery reception ladies. We met 3 different reception ladies during our stay (including 2 nights prior to this stay, booked separately) and they were all amazingly helpful and enthusiastic. Absolutely top class.
The location of the hotel is very good for Chamonix high street and buses operate very close by.
We had a lovely room with balcony, affording views of Mont Blanc and the river immediately below.
Bathroom a little dated. But perfectly clean and functional

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The lobby area was great--coffee, tea, and water available with several nice sitting options both inside and out.
It took a very long time for the shower water to get hot, though if we started soon enough, it did get there. The shower was also very small.

Not great.
Pets are not allowed in the breakfast room. The grumpy old lady told us to have breakfast in the lounge no service at all had to help ourselves. There should be a separate breakfast room where pets are welcome.
Bathroom mold around bathroom, toilet tiles broken, etc.
