Riad Zen House

Pretty little Riad, with spatial, nicely decorated rooms and bathrooms.Small pool was our favorite refreshment touch in hot afternoons, and there is a beautiful terrace for a perfect moment of zen before sleeping. And above all, the hospitality of our host Samir gave extra value to our stay. He assisted us with everything we have asked , so honestly and without any hesitating, as only friends do for friends!

I would like it even more if it would have more light, both during the day and night, but that’s just my personal taste. Location is around 20 - 25 min walking, which, after few times going back and forward, becomes shorter somehow

We arrived quite late in the evening and were greeted by the friendly staff. They had arranged with us before travel to have a home cooked meal on arrival which was excellent and so fresh. The room was lovely, a good size for two adults and our child and the bathroom had everything we needed. It is located about five minutes walk from the taxi drop off area and a short walk to the souks so it's in an ideal location. We didn't notice any excessive noise and would definitely stay here again. Breakfast was also lovely, with a selection of different foods.

Everything was great for us

My fiancée and I had a really enjoyable stay at this riad and would happily stay here again. The location is very convenient. It is in a safe area and within walking distance of the souks and the Medina, while also being close to the newer part of Marrakech. This made it easy to get around and see different parts of the city. It was also very convenient for excursions, as tour transfer buses were able to pick us up nearby without any issues. The staff were wonderful throughout our stay. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. They gave us great recommendations for activities and places to visit, which made our trip even better. The riad itself is beautiful and has a relaxing atmosphere. We especially enjoyed spending time on the terrace after a day of exploring the city. The included breakfast was a nice mix of pastries and local options, and it was something we appreciated every morning. Our room was comfortable, with a good bed and effective air conditioning, which made it easy to relax after a busy day. Overall, this riad offers great value for money, kind and attentive staff, and a location that makes it easy to enjoy Marrakech. Thank you to the whole team for helping make our stay such a pleasant experience.

The room is beautiful, very clean rooms, lovely decor and very friendly and helpful staff.

The location isn’t the best, it’s down a side road and taxis can’t really get down there so you have to be dropped and then walk the streets at night in the dark. You ask for directions and people expect money from you. One guy stood outside the door and wouldn’t leave. Breakfast is very basic - bread jam and coffee. It is also very very very noisy. 5am after prayers, staff are downstairs talking loudly moving chairs and tables. Breakfast is served in the middle of the building and your rooms are around the edge so if people are eating from 6am you’re awake. You can hear everything. In order to get in you have to ring the door bell which is very loud so people are ringing it all night coming home and you jump and wake up out of your sleep. By night 3 we were exhausted and we started to not enjoy the holiday so much due to lack of sleep. That would be the one major thing I’d say to improve. At least give a key for the door instead of the door bell. 1 night at 2am someone was buzzing to get in and no one was answering. It’s was a good 30 minutes of them continuing to press the bell until someone came. If you’re not bothered about getting a decent sleep then this Riad is lovely. But if you need 7/8 hours like me, I wouldn’t recommend it. Between 1am - 5am at best are the only quiet hours
