A lovely place to stay in St Remy.

We enjoyed staying here and would return. The rooms were comfortable but it is the overall ambiance of the hotel that we liked. The pool area, the seating areas and greenery were lovely. Parking was available but we didn’t use the car much as you could walk into the centre easily.

Not bad

The breakfasts were so good, they made the pastries every day. The quality is high and you have lots of choices. They clean their swimming pool every single day.

Most of the stuff members’ English are not fluent, we are not able to communicate with basic English to the cleaning ladies, e.g. no cleaning needed or asking them to change towels or refill shampoo, etc. The cleaning lady also forgot to lock our room door after the cleaning at one day, we realised it till we back the hotel around 9 pm. Fortunately nothing was missing. After we complained to the reception, we don’t feel like they show a formal apology to us or any compensations. Even if we reiterated that we don’t need room keeping for the rest of two days, the next day, in the morning the cleaning lady came to our room again and realised we were still in the room.

The location was perfect and the value for the location was good. Parking is a bonus given we were driving to explore nearby towns.

Breakfast was a little stressful, as we had to confirm the day prior if we were attending breakfast.

Sleepy in St Remy

The area of St Remy is beautiful, and the hotel is a stones throw away from a lovely little town with ample eateries and coffee shops. The hotel itself is lovely with a large pool and large breakfast room. The breakfast is good and varied also. We had a 45 minute massage which was really soothing and good value for money. The hotel was clean and had really soft beds and pillows with reliable A/C and tea and coffee in the rooms. They also arranged for flowers to be in my room for my birthday which was a lovely touch.

The hotel was incredibly noisy, with even the slightest move of a chair being heard. I was woken up every night by loud guests banging and closing doors or talking well into the night. I therefore slept poorly and would recommend better sound proofing. The toilet also can't flush tissue paper and made a gurgling sound every time it was used, producing a funky smell. The car park was a nightmare to park in some evenings when it was full of cars (they seem to have only big cars in Provence!). That being said, we managed after multiple attempts.

Room was very basic/plain. No window shades, or privacy, other guests continually looking in our windows. At night, with room lights on, we were in a fishbowl, visual access to all. No shower curtain, bathroom floor always wet.

Location excellent , 5 minute walk into town , quiet oasis . The staff were lovely . Room good but if I return will book an upgraded room as I had a standard which was small , ok for 1 night but wouldn’t want to do any longer in it . Would definitely return though .

The bar facilities are strange , they have a small bar list , some things weren’t available ….no ice or lemon with tonic , just given in a can . They need to decide if they have a bar or not … on arrival it was lovely to sit and chill in nice area outside but a better choice of drinks correctly served with a few nibbles would make all the difference .

A very enjoyable stay.

We enjoyed our stay. Great location and everything was spotlessly clean. We only stayed for 1 night but we will definately return. Loved the town, restaurants, shops and galleries.

Very nice facility and room. Location was wonderful--just a few minutes walk into old town. Plus, we had a place to park our rental car at the hotel, which was great. Staff was very pleasant and helpful.

Perfect stay in Saint-Remy-de-Provence

The property is gorgeous and it's perfectly located to walk everywhere, or drive out of Saint-Remy to explore other towns. Our room was pretty and clean. The pool area was very nice as well, we didn't use it but it looked clean. There is parking inside of the hotel if you are driving.

The only thing I didn't like was the shower design, it doesn't have anything to stop the water for coming out of the shower, so no matter how careful you are you would always end with a pool of water on the bathroom floor, which isn't ideal.
