Axel Beach Ibiza - Adults Only

Great hotel

Wonderful central location with super helpful and friendly front of house staff - particularly the two ladies that helped me a my girlfriends a lot during our stay (recommendations, taxis, extras etc). Thank you ladies!

The breakfast staff weren't as accommodating, I'd go as far to say rude - which was unfortunate. Breakfast options a little limited given the cost. Cleaning of the rooms could have been better but we only stayed a short time so wasn't a massive issue.

Such a spacious and clean apartment. The outside area was nice although we didnt use it, and lead straight onto the beach which was also relatively nice considering it is part of san an bay! The staff were always SO helpful and accommodating (massive shoutout to the sisters at reception!)

Only issue we had was the toilet flushes kept breaking and one point it was the evening and there was no one to fix it so we’d have to go down stairs to the lobby if we needed the toilet. It did get fixed by lunch time the next day but one of the toilets kept faulting. But minor issue!

Considering this my third visit and having payed a lot of money for a Seaview and even asked for an upgrade to be given the first floor front with a massive roof overhang was not good, we couldn't see the pool yet we could hear all the noise all the time, plus items from above us kept falling from properties above onto the roof overhang. Not all the kitchen facilities worked including the Kettle and Hob which rendered our ability to be self sufficient therefore having to rely on the rip off prices of the restaurants that has now become the norm. Although I like The Axel hotel it needs updating as it has not changed in at least 10 years plus Ibiza has now become such rip off I will not be returning to the Island that I have enjoyed for many years having visited at least a dozen times. Such a shame everyone got greedy
