Apartments Budman

The apartment is located outside of main Dubrovnik and is easily accessible by car. Can get to the old town by taxi within 15 minutes (and relatively inexpensive). We stayed in the top floor 2 bedroom (1 ensuite plus extra bathroom). The apartment is an exceptionally well-done and a modern loft conversion / utilisation of the loft. The finishing is really nice. There is a large AC which works very well. There are views of the sea from the balcony (which also has seating). The apartment is reached by walking up a road for 10 metres or so and then a flight of stairs (we had no issues with that at all) and there is space there as well. Mario (host) is responsive and helpful.

Parking: the host has no control over this. There is free parking available on the street within 10 meters or so, but there is no guarantee that a space will always be there (depending on the time of arrival / period of stay etc. ; we did get parking space, I must add). Even if there isn't parking on the street itself would still be good value to stay at the apartment and to look at parking a bit more away (or paid parking elsewhere).

Excelente apartamento. Buscábamos un lugar mas local, lejos del ruido y turismo y aquí fue ideal. Lugar muy acogedor y cómodo, muy limpio y nuevo, con todo lo necesario, bien climatizado, camas cómodas, cocina equipada y muy iluminada, terraza con vista a la marina. Bonito apartamento. Los anfitriones maravillosas personas, siempre cerca al pendiente de nuestras necesidades. La mamá de Mario (el anfitrión) nos hizo sentir en casa, como si fuéramos familia, ya que ella vive en el apartamento de abajo. Muy cariñosa y amable. La parada de autobús esta a 10 min caminando y te lleva al Old Town en 10 min. Hay unas playas preciosas cerca también caminando donde no hay tanto turismo, si no gente local, lo que te hace disfrutar tranquilamente. El centro de Lapad está muy cerca y es precioso pasear por el walking trail o comer ahí. Vale la pena y lo recomiendo ampliamente. Nuestra estancia fue inolvidable. Sin duda volvería a este lugar!!!

Todo excelente. Si hay que caminar por pendientes y puede ser algo cansado pero así está todo Dubrovnik.

Mario and his Mum were excellent hosts, providing us with homemade lemonade on arrival as it was very hot. The apartment was very clean with a modern bathroom and kitchen. It had great aircon, black out blinds, wifi, plenty of towels/linen and everything you need in the kitchen. The location was excellent! Just a short (10min) walk to Lapad and the many restaurants and beach. Or only a 10-15min drive to the Dubrovnik/City Walls. Our fav restaurant was Maskeron! We loved Lapad/Dubrovnik and could've easily stayed for longer had we had time.
