Hotel San Roque

Beautiful building, lovely room which had a huge bathroom & comfy bed, very nice pool area & roof terrace/ solarium with a fantastic view of the hill behind Garachico.The staff were excellent, very kind and thoughtful. We absolutely loved our meal at the hotel restaurant, it was truly outstanding. A lovely boutique hotel in pretty Garachico - we will be back for sure!

Bed too hard , rooms a little dark

My husband and I were celebrating 40 years of marriage and booked The San Roque Hotel for our first holiday in Tenerife . From the moment we stepped inside we relaxed into the calm atmosphere. Our room, on the first floor was a lovely space with the bedroom area on a mezzanine level and we were welcomed with a thoughtful bottle of Cava to celebrate our anniversary. The room was both comfortable and quiet, no exterior noises. The daily chamber service was super efficient, even locating a lost earring. Our breakfasts and two evening meals, taken round the open air heated pool, made them extra special. All the staff were friendly and those at reception could not have been more helpful, advising us on the places we visited using the local bus service, arranging a massage session, allowing use of a spare room as we had a late flight home etc, etc. The hotel is perfectly situated in Garachico (which is beautiful), a very short walk took us to the town square, or sea front,or bus stop, restaurants and shops.

Everything was perfect for us but if you had mobility issues the room we were in would not have been suitable . There were rooms on the ground floor but it is a question I would ask on booking .
