Great atmosphere with historical significance and unique story! Simple check-in procedure and friendly staff. Washing facilities and perfectly outfitted kitchen

We were staying in winter and required extra heaters in the room - this worked out fine and the staff were very accommodating

The building itself is beautiful and historic, and it has been restored in a charming and impressive way. The interior is cozy and tastefully decorated, with a large bedroom and a spacious living room–kitchen area. The kitchen was extremely clean and looked almost brand‑new. The location is excellent as well, with all major sights only a short walk away. The Banana Museum is a fun and surprisingly interesting place to visit.

This beautiful historic building has been wonderfully renovated, though the bathroom connected to the bedroom had a strong sewer smell coming from the drains. In addition, I noticed a musty, mold-like odor in the bathroom, suggesting that the moisture insulation may have failed. These were the only unpleasant aspects of the apartment.

The rooms at Platanera Suites is nothing short of incredible, are really clean and look exactly as the photos, with big and charming windows, high ceiling and overall classy inventor. It is placed in the heart of this charming town, with a staff that is both understanding and customer-oriented. Thank you so much to Platanera Suites. We absolutely reccommend travelling to Icod de los vinos and Platanera Suites, and wish we had more time to enjoy it.

the apartment was beautiful and spacious, amazing interior, very comfy bed and sheets, amazing view of ocean and palms, huge tv, nice location for restaurants

dirty shower, pillow with stains, you stay in museum which means the “attractivity” for tourists is more important than comfort of the guests - extremely loud roosters wake you up since 5 am + all night long you listen to sound of tube spilling watter to pond of fish
