Very pleasant and welcoming guest house.

This is a charming traditional house with modern amenities in your room and bathroom. The host is very welcoming and you do feel you are staying in a 'home' . The room and bathroom were comfortable and the coffee in the room was a welcome touch. A huge bottle of drinking water in the common landing outside the rooms from which you can refill your bottle is not only thoughtful, but also environmentally friendly so you don't buy another plastic bottle--though tap water in Bulgaria is safe to drink

This is really a Google map issue. The GPS coordinate provided is probably in the middle of the house so Google maps will keep taking you round and round trying to get to that coordinate--there are two entrances to the compound. We looped a few times before we stopped and asked someone who emerged from a door and he immediately showed us the door to this Guest House.

Charming home and hostess.

Charming, traditional home that is comfortable and quiet. Hostess was very pleasant and helpful, giving us maps and places to eat and shop. Wasn’t sure which house it was so phoned the hostess and she came out and waved us in and let us in a bit early:-) (there are actually gates on either side of the house. ) Teabags and several three in one coffee packages provided as well as some dishes, dish soap and a sponge. Spring water in a battery operated jug is provided in the shared area even though the tapwater is fine to drink. Shower has curtain and drains well and has a floor mat so is better than most European showers. Has blinds and stayed cool in September despite no air-conditioning. No bugs so you can leave the windows open even though there are a few holes in the screens.

A better English sign, and a few photos of the outside of the house on the website would be good. A dish towel to dry the dishes would be great.

Wonderful everything

Phenomenal value located at the perfect town center. The room is probably among the best I've ever stayed. Beautifully decorated interior and garden. Owner speaks excellent English and was able to provide recommendations in town. Further, the owner helped me with my laundry and even dried for me. Just wonderful Bulgarian hospitality and I sincerely am grateful! The house is located right near the river and the natural sound of the river just soothes you day and night. Night switches right by the bed, very nice touch. Slippers are also provided along with a TV and a fridge!

It's an old wood house. If you have luggage, it will be difficult to bring to the second floor but it's short. The pathway from bus stop to guest house is stony road with ice in the winter, it's not easy to walk with luggage. But almost everywhere is stony pathway in town.

We had a lovely stay at Bashtina Striaha! The room was very clean and also warm during winter. The bed was really comfortable and the room was spacious. The house is cosy and the owner was really kind. I definitely recommend this place in Koprivshtica if you want to feel the spirit of the town!

Beautiful Home in Koprivshtitsa

We found the place pretty easily, let ourselves in, and were greeted by the owner who showed us our room and told us where to eat and visit in the village. Our room was very comfortable and warm and cozy. We had a comfortable stay and recommend this place to other travelers. The location is perfect!

Awesome location in a traditional house

Great location close to all house museums. Sparkly clean rooms, with traditional design, and private bathroom. You have a nice garden with flowers. The host speaks perfect English and is very friendly and helpful. Totally recommend booking this place, I couldn't have chosen a better place in beautiful Koprishvitsa. You also have a fridge in the room. Stay more days if possible.

I only regret I couldn't stay longer.

Great room

You can enjoy remodeled traditional Bulgarian room here, which is surrounded by serene and beautiful nature. I heard birds chirping anywhere. Moreover, old stone bridge, one of the famous spots in Koprivshtitsa, is so close from this room that I could see the bridge from a window. There are a lot of restaurants and grocery shops in Koprivshtitsa, so you can buy food there.

Wi-Fi is a little weak, so it could be better not to try uploading large size pictures or videos here even if you took many wonderful images in Koprivshtitsa :)

Vam arribar de nit el carrer era fosc i no hi havia cap cartell comprensible per a forani a la porta de l'establiment. Accés estret a un primer pis, per una escala de fusta. Vaig tenir la sensació d'estar en un cau. La puntuació que surt a Google maps es excessiva, entre un sis o un set seria més correcta al meu parer.
