Wonderful experience to spend the night!

The guest house was built in traditional Bulgarian style. The interior is cozy made us feel like step back in time. There’s also tavern under the guest house where we had Bulgarian dinner in good atmosphere. The service is great although some language barrier. However, he tried his best to communicate with us. What a warm welcome.

The guest house is uphill via the narrow lane, we need to park the car down the village and drag our belongings uphill to the guest house.

Exceptional dining experience

Good location, welcoming hosts, clean and quiet—great value for money. We chose to dine at the on-site garden restaurant, and that was the best decision! The service was outstanding, and the food was exceptionally delicious. The breakfast was fabulous too. Highly recommend the restaurant if you book this place—it’s a must. Amazing authentic, almost 200 years old house! Exceptionally clean and beautiful inside! Hosts are very very kind and made our stay there like at home! Also, the food is homemade and delicious! Will definately return...! :)

Amazing place, so friendly staff and homemade delicious food!

Honestly, we never expected such warm welcome and pleasant stay. The staff was so friendly and helpful. They made us feel like we’re at home. Amazing people! The food in the restaurant was exceptional! Homemade, super delicious food - as my grandmother has cooked it! There is not a single thing we didn’t like! Would definitely visit again!!! Big thumbs up

Small improvements could be made

The host was very polite, the beds were very comfortable . The food in the restaurant was delicious , we tried various meals.

Breakfast, which was not included in the price, was served in the restaurant, but in the morning the place was a bit cold. But have in mind it was -3 outside . The espresso they make was a bit watery.

the description online doesn’t match the room we got. the Large double bed was actually 135 cm, barely qualified as queen size in European standards. despite being uncomfortable. low ceilings, tainted old bathroom. we had an uncomfortable night

Its was correct for one night but very disappointing, nothing was conform to the description.

We liked the location, everything was clean .The hotel itself is looking nice

The room given did not correspond to the description at all, we paid for the double chamber 65 leva. We were suppose to have a view on the mountain and the town but did not have any view only a view on the roof of another one house.. Our chamber was right next the the reception, we could hear anyone and anyone could hear us. Unlike what its say in the description there wasn't any free bathroom product except hand soap, the TV was an old TV not a flat screen TV and was barely working.. few lamps in the chamber did not work as well. The restaurant is a pure scam.. price are more expensive than they should ,half of the menu wasn't available and no one meals that we ordered were good.. we asked for some fruit jam in extra and paid about 30g ,4.50 leva the price of a jar of 500g in Bulgaria.( please don't eat there) The owners were very deceitful... and only accepting cash.

Our stay in Koprivshtica

Clean and warm apartment (visit in February). The beds are relatively small but comfortable for me. The bathroom is large, clean and warm. You have good restaurant in the hotel. Good food in the restaurant.

Very steep and sleepy street (in winter). For parking better use the public parking option . The restaurant could be warmer in winter.

Authentic place for the most authentic Bulgarian town

Gozbarov's Guest House definitely belongs to those properties that remain in lasting memory. It is wonderfully immersed in the tissue of serene area of the small and fairy Bulgarian town of Koprivshtitsa. This is a great choice because of its traditional looks, wonderfully arranged house architecture surrounded with many flowers and ornamental plants. The lady owner was very kind and helpful and has prepared tasty breakfasts. Great stay in wonderful small town in wonderful property. Definitely recommended.

Very good

The house is very authentic and it fits the whole experience very well! The location is great since it is close to the main center of the city, as well as to the main parking spot. The food was amazing - everything we tried was very tasty!

The rooms were not ready when we checked in - so we had to wait.

Estar en una casa tradicional de la zona, habitación muy acogedora, aunque mobiliario un tanto antiguo, pero al final eso es lo que le da más encanto. El propietario muy amable y servicial.

Queríamos cenar en el establecimiento y no había cocinero, por lo tanto tuvimos que buscar un restaurante por el pueblo.

Уникално вкусна храна и прекрасно отношение от хората в механата, както и в къщата. Страхотно място! Препоръчвам и се надяваме скоро пак да отидем!

Единственото нещо, което е като препоръка е подмяна на матрака на спалнята, тъй като е с пружини, които много скърцат при всяко движение. Също така, бойлерът, който явно е много малък, топлата вода свърши за отрицателно време.

Беше топличко, уютно и домакинът беше много любезен.

С паркирането е проблем. Местата отпред са ограничени, а паркирането в цяла Копривщица е платено. Липсваха шампоанчета и сапунчета, но за нас това не беше проблем.

Къщата беше приятна и уютна!

Къщата беше приятна и имаше нужните неща за престоя ни от една нощувка. Ресторантчето на приземния етаж беше много удобен и уютен за вечеря. Кухнята беше много вкусна!

Локацията на къщата обявена в букинг е различна, но всъщност реалната локация е по-добра. Лошо впечатление ми направиха две неща, които съм сигурен, че могат да се отстранят. 1. Отношението относно предварителната ни заявка за парко място. В букинг е описано, че има такова, но всъщност ако къщата е пълна място за всички няма и въпреки, че предварително бях помолил за такова в последния момент при пристигане вечерта ни обясниха, че най-добре да отидем на платен паркинг, който е +8лв. Просто беше добре да сме наясно предварително. 2. В букинг е обявено напускане до 12ч, но на място ни казаха, че е до 11ч. За мен това беше важно, понеже бях на състезание и имах нужда след това да си взема душ. Много лесно това може да се коригира в платформата на букинг за да няма подвеждане. Въпреки тези неща, мястото за настаняване си заслужава и го препоръчвам!

Златна есен в Гозбаровата къща в Копривщица

Много сме доволни от престоя си. Къщата е в копривщенски стил, красиво изписана с топли цветове, а дървото навсякъде създава усещането за уют. Чисто е и добре поддържано. Механата е прекрасна, а храната - домашно приготвена и страшно вкусна. Благодарим на Иван за топлото посрещане и на Жоро за прекрасното отношение и препоръки относно менюто. С удоволствие ще ви посетим отново :)

Разположението, красивата градина, любезен домакин, вкусна храна и учтиво обслужване в ресторанта към хотела, доста удобен късен час за напускане - 12 ч, което дава възможност за наспиване и почивка без излишно бързане сутрин. За втори път идваме в този хотел. Уникална домашна закуска - пържени филийки и мекици!!!

Лично наше мнение и усещане - възглавниците не ни бяха много удобни.
