We were with small children, and the road from the center to the house is cobblestone, so it’s impossible to use a strol

Outdoor and the view is beautiful. Also the women who make the braekfast was very good.

We were with small children, and the road from the center to the house is cobblestone, so it’s impossible to use a stroller, which made our stay very difficult. There is no parking nearby, you have to walk about 100 meters. They accommodated us in a basement that smelled of dampness.

Nice place with beautiful view.

The hotel is placed in typical Koprivshtitsa house, actually two of them. The room was cozy, small but it's an old house so exactly as expected. The host was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, it was enough hot water, beautiful view, small garden and we had actually a free parking spot inside the house, very nice. The bed was unexpectedly comfortable and strong.

Stuff like the wooden windows and old floor, but it's not actually a thing, because we wanted to stay in old bulgarian house, so it's just not so comfortable as a typical hotel. The streets around the building are narrow and the garden door too, but like I said, part of the charm of the city as whole.

Good cost x benefit

The garden is beautiful, the traditional Bulgarian breakfast was very simple but tasty. The staff was kind. It has a nice view to the mountains.

The shower suddenly got cold and we neither of us could finish the shower with warm water. The bathroom doesn't have a cabin shower, so you flood the bathroom every time you shower. There's no parking space (even on the street), and the Wi-Fi was not working.

Beautiful old house where we were acomodated, our friendly host and great breakfast our host made

One can always find something he doesn't like but it has to keep in mind that on this special place life is different than from the place we live. Yes, some things can be improved but as it is house is something special

Hidden gem in Bulgaria

A wonderful place in the wonderful Koprivsztica. The rooms are even nicer as in the pictures. The staff is very nice and prepares very tasty and filling breakfasts. I highly recommend

Lovely traditional house, great breakfasts, friendly staff, wonderful setting

We've stayed at this guest house before so we knew that we liked it. The lady who runs the place is very friendly. The breakfast are wonderful with a different option every day. We love the setting of the village and exploring the countryside on walks.

We had a different room to our last stay and the three single beds were not very comfortable this time. Breakfast is always served outside which is lovely but if there are a few people staying then some will smoke cigarettes and this is a big problem for us as we don't want to inhale other peoples smoke. If the guest house doesn't have many guests this isn't a problem, like on out previous visit but this time there were many guests smoking.

The best way to experience Koprivshtitsa

We had a great stay in a guesthouse that seems to take you back in time. The perfect way to spend the night in the historic village of Koprivshtitsa. On top of that we we’re greeted by a very friendly hostess who also made us a nice breakfast in the morning.

Fantastic guest house, super location and friendly staff.

We loved staying in a traditional house and the decor was beautiful. The view from our room was nice. The lady who looked after the property and served us breakfast each morning was very friendly even though we didn’t speak Bulgarian and she didn’t speak English. The breakfasts were some of the best and freshest tasting we have had in all of Bulgaria.

Nothing that we didn’t like but it would have been nice to have a kettle in the room to make a hot drink.
