Accomodating staffs. Hostel vibes with solo room. Amenities were always cleaned. Bus station is in front. Very near Asakusa. Neighborhood is not very busy, full of locals.

I've stayed here multiple times over the years, and it's become my go-to place in Tokyo. It's cheap, it's clean, it's got great friendly vibes (staff & guests), and a private bedroom can feel like a luxury even if you do share other facilities.
It's perfect for a solo traveller, of course, but it also works well for groups that aren't joined at the hip (e.g., some leaving/arriving earlier/later, or some taking side excursions), and it's cheap enough that if you're making trips away from Tokyo of just a few days, you can stay checked in and leave most of your luggage behind without breaking the bank.
The neighborhood its in feels working class, but in a "people actually live here" sense rather than a "seedy" sense. It's right next door to a convenience store, and a short walk away from a pair of grocery stores.
The only real downside in my opinion is the 10+ minute walk to/from the nearest station (there's actually 3 stations on different lines a comparable distance away, which is kind of nice). If you're moving a lot of luggage, spring for a cab!
Bottom line: if you make your peace with the twice daily walk while you're staying there, Juyoh is perfect.

In a manageable location for tourist sights in Tokyo, mostly just one train change & not too far distances. Have your own room but toilets & bathrooms are shared. To me, this is a better deal than an usual capsule pod. But place is a little old & run down. Fortunately it's clean & reasonably maintained. Coin laundry machines available & it felt clean enough to use. Front reception's white women is strange behaving & a little rude. Will definitely return for a budget stay.
