Nice place to stay

Free room upgrade, friendly reception, heated bathroom floor and nice food offering in restaurant and for breakfast. As Vals is a small place, the locals meet in the hotel bar for chats, games and drinks. Lively atmosphere.

TV frequently froze and had color artifacts, probably due to ineffective size of satellite antenna. Hotel is currently being renovated so the view from the room was not great.

The pillow was terrible…hard…probably very cheap or old…needs to be renewed! The duvet too was not comfortable…I guess old

Outsanding interior design, food and service in Vals

Fantastic hotel with outstanding interior design by Swiss architect Gion Caminada, great service and delicious food in the heart of Vals. Only a short walk to the most beautiful Thermal baths by Peter Zumthor, a river, a gondola to the ski resort and multiple dinning options in the village. 10 out of 10!

L'emplacement très bien situé et la gentillesse des personnes en charge du service. La nourriture nous a plu et il ne fut pas difficile de commander parfois une assiette pour deux !

Bien que nous ayons refusé le premier ménage de la chambre, nous aurions souhaité qu'il ait lieu, dans les règles de l'art, le second mations après-midi !

Gut geeignet für ein langes Wochenende

Hotel ist gut mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zu erreichen; Skibus hält direkt auf dem Platz vorm Hotel, man kann aber auch bis zur Talstation der Gondel laufen; die Therme ist auch gut zu Fuss erreichbar; Restaurant sehr gut, sehr gutes Essen und super freundliches Personal; Frühstück ist gut (grundsätzlich alles da, aber nichts besonderes)

Frühstück etwas einfallslos, siehe oben; Zimmer gingen auf Parkplatz/Innenhof hinaus, keine Aussicht; zeitweilig tagsüber lautes Brummen von einer Lüftung / Maschine in der Nähe; Lüftungen vom eigenen Bad sind ebenfalls sehr laut
