Suphan Lake Hometel

We’ve stayed here quite often over the past few years when close to Bangkok International Airport. The hotel is in a comfortable local neighborhood very close to the airport. The facilities are simple, but it’s a very good budget option if needing to stay close to the airport but wanting normal local life, markets, and food options.

This is probably the last time we stay. The helper staff was very friendly as usual, but the Thai owner or maybe senior manager woman was very unprofessional. Upon checking in and paying for the room, my husband asked for the receipt and without any further explanation, the lady very abruptly just said ‘no’. Having asked her why a receipt was not possible, she did not attempt to either explain or apologize for this and got visibly annoyed. This would be rude anywhere but was particularly out of place in Thailand or customer services generally excellent. After having insisted for a while, explaining we required this receipt for work (which should not be necessary) she finally agreed to write us a paper receipt while remaining visibly annoyed. It’s a pretty because we’ve stayed here many many times during the past few years and whenever we’ve interacted with staff there they’ve always been very polite and nice – this is the first time we encountered this more senior lady.

Nice staff, hygenic and near to suvarvhurmi airport with peaceful location as there's 7-11 and garden nearby walking distance.

Good for a one-night stay if you have a flight early the next morning. It’s close to the airport, and for the price, it’s an okay place to stay.

You can hear everything in the room—noise from outside and from other guests. I couldn’t sleep for half the night. The pool has only a few sunbeds, and not all of them are in the shade. Also, the pool water wasn’t as clean as expected.
