This hotel and the room were ok but the location was not good. It was too far from all stores and the hotel was very deserted. It was not easy to find food to eat. I do not recommend this hotel at all.

I stayed at this hotel in Bangkok during a very last-minute situation after unexpectedly getting stuck in the city. I needed an inexpensive place where I could stay for about a week while finishing a heavy workload, primarily teaching English classes online for 10–12 hours a day. Because of that, my experience may be different from someone coming to Bangkok for tourism, nightlife, or exploring the city. To be honest, I probably would not immediately recommend this hotel to travelers looking for the “Bangkok experience,” especially because there are better accommodations in better locations for similar pricing. However, this place worked for me specifically because I needed a quiet space to work and mostly stay indoors. The biggest issue was the internet situation. I specifically chose this hotel because they advertised stable in-room internet, which was essential for my job. Before checking in, I explained that I was an English teacher and needed reliable internet to work. I was told they had internet available, and I was even told I received a room upgrade. Unfortunately, after settling in and preparing for classes, we discovered the internet was not actually functioning. We later learned a company had to come fix it, and that repair would take about two days. That was frustrating because the internet issue was known after I had already explained why I needed it. As for the room itself, there were a few maintenance and comfort issues. We stayed on the ground floor, and because of the balcony/back door area, small bugs regularly made their way into the room. They mostly stayed near that section, but it was still something we dealt with daily. There were also a lot of mosquitoes in the area due to the nearby lake and trees, so guests should definitely be prepared for that. The room was fully tiled, which is understandable for cleaning purposes, but housekeeping did not always clean thoroughly every day, especially in the bathroom. The bathroom itself also had recurring problems with hot water. Someone had to come fix it repeatedly, and eventually the maintenance worker showed the person I was traveling with how to reset/fix it because it happened so often. The shower head was also loose and partially detached from the wall, so you had to handle it carefully. These are relatively simple fixes, but they are things guests should not have to work around. That said, I do want to give credit to the staff. The staff members themselves were genuinely kind, helpful, and did their best with what they had available. My issues were more with the condition and upkeep of the facilities than with the employees. The property honestly feels like it is still in the middle of renovation or updating. There is a lot of potential here because the space itself could actually become something really nice with more investment and maintenance. One thing I did appreciate was how quiet the property was. There were very few guests during my stay, which made it peaceful and good for focused work. I think I only saw a couple of other families or couples the entire week. For someone who wants isolation, quiet, and space away from crowds, that could actually be a benefit. Overall, this place served its purpose for me during a stressful and work-heavy week, but in its current condition, I personally do not think it fully matches the price point yet. With repairs, better maintenance, and more consistency in amenities like internet and hot water, I think this property could become much better in the future.
