I really liked the interior of the maisonette apartment, as well as the design of the public areas. The views from the restaurant and pool were amazing, the breakfast was excellent, and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were also very friendly and service-oriented.

The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The restaurant was amazing.

Communication when we arrived could have been better. We had a lot of trouble figuring out how to check in. Also, if you're hiking the Fishermen's Trail, this hotel is about a kilometer uphill past the end of this stage.

Architecturally fabulous. Very well designed intimate boutique hotel. We stayed in a studio which was spacious and tastefully furnished.

I booked a table for supper months before arriving to celebrate our wedding anniversary. In my email I clearly stated my wife was gluten free and that we wanted the restaurants tasting menu. Alarm bells rang the night before when we spoke to the front of house person who suggested my wife should try their sourdough bread despite her clearly telling him she was gluten free. Then again at breakfast when they needed to defrost gluten free bread (which arrived at our take still semi frozen). Because if this I asked the staff to check that the chef knew my wife would need a gluten free meal in the evening. After some discussion they came back and told us that the tasting menu could not be adapted for gluten free diners and we were forced to cancel our reservation. It’s never happen to us before. I wonder whether the chef is as good as they claim. Avoid this place if you have food allergies. Avoid this place if you feel the customer should come first
