Stunning location, excellent service at every turn. Rest and relaxation came easy.
The scenery was exceptional & it was enhanced by the different relaxation zones at the pool and beach. The food & service was excellent. The room was attended to every day. An absolute gem if you’re looking for a relaxing holiday.
Slightly far from any form of night entertainment and bars.

Bad
The Bottom Line, This Hotel Is bad Not Justify Its Exorbitant Price.
I stayed at the Grecotel EVA Palace for a nine day period, from September 22 to 30. My partner and I chose this location for a significant life event, as I planned to propose, and I sought the hotel's assistance. Unfortunately, any help offered came with an additional charge of over 200 euros, and no room upgrade or basic assistance was provided.
A primary issue stems from the branding, the "Grecotel" name encompasses two properties, the EVA Palace, where we stayed, and the Imperial, which appears to be the hotel that everyone recommends. Be warned, do not make the mistake we did by choosing the EVA Palace.
The experience began poorly with the room itself, which was small, musty, smelled of mold, and bore no resemblance to the images advertised online. The housekeeping service was substandard. They did not truly clean the room, only tidying the bed linens. Soap was not refilled, bath towels were not consistently replaced throughout our stay, and towels or bathrobes were frequently taken without being returned. Specifically, pool towels were removed after two days and never returned, the same occurred with our bathrobes, which severely detracted from the experience.
On one occasion, we arrived at the breakfast dining room fifteen minutes before the official opening time because we had a very early morning ferry to catch. The dining hall was already full in food, and many guests were seated and eating. I spoke with a staff member, explaining our rush to catch the ferry and requesting to eat from the food that was already available. She firmly refused, stating we had not pre ordered an early breakfast and instructed us to wait the full fifteen minutes. This rigidity, despite the circumstances and the operational status of the kitchen, was shocking. Furthermore, the dining experience overall was a nightmare.

Luxurious paradise!
We celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary at the hotel. There were sparkling wine and a chocolate cake waiting for us in our bungalow, and roses at my sister's request. The hotel had also upgraded our room from a superior bungalow to a junior suite bungalow. All the surprises were truly wonderful!
The hotel welcomed us very warmly, we felt like royalty. The whole place was like paradise, because the hotel area was so green and beautiful. The pool area was the most beautiful and comfortable pool area we have ever been to. The hotel's own beach was a lovely sandy beach, from where it was very easy to go swimming.
It was also wonderful that there was food served both on the beach and at the pool area, so we ate at both bars once. The food and drinks were very tasty in every bar and restaurant in the hotel, and the views from the lobby bar were the most magnificent. The breakfast had everything you could wish for. A truly wonderful and comfortable luxury hotel. We definitely want to go back there again!
Everything was fine, there is nothing to complain about.

Very relaxing holiday
Pool & beach area are beautiful. The surrounding scenery is breathtaking. The food is delicious in all restaurants that we visited (we didn't do all of them). Staff were attentive and very helpful. Room was very spacious. Towels are provided daily by the pool & beach. The pool and beach and hotel is very well maintained the team are up early to ensure that everything looks perfect for when you wake up.
The food on offer at breakfast could have been alternated each day, it was the same thing daily. There are a lot of stairs, this didn't bother us too much but if you are not as able bodied this would be very difficult to navigate, some stairs are unavoidable. However, I do believe they offer a cart service for those unable to walk far.
The shower head in our room could have been better considering the price we paid. The local area, whilst beautiful, there is not an awful lot to do. If you are happy to just stay at the beach and pool this would be perfect for you.
The restaurants, aside from two that we found, are all linked with grecotel. This isn't necessarily bad but we chose this location thinking we could explore & it is all part of the same resort.
Not something that is any fault of the hotel but there are lots of wasps here!

For a five star hotel it was below expectations.
Beautiful views. Clean. Courteous staff.
A/C didn’t work. Internet very slow. Had to get a router installed in our room. Still very slow.

The view and the surroundings are worth the price
Top location with great views and quiet surroundings
Good selection for breakfast
Quiet rooms
Nice pool area
Good pool and seaside restaurants/bars
The wireless connection is orrible
The price/quality ratio is only average
Breakfast can become busy in the high season
The boat rental service at the beach can be a nuisance when swimming

Perfect Location, Amazing Views and Lovely Food
“Everything was fantastic — from the location, food, pool, and comfort, to the breathtaking views. I honestly can’t recommend this place enough. What truly made the experience exceptional was the hotel manager, Konstantinos. His hospitality was second to none, and he is truly the gem of this hotel.”

Worst vacation at a “5 star hotel”
Pool area was good
The beach is the worst beach I have ever seen! The floor in the room was dirty, there were spider webs in some corners and also in the hallway there were spider webs.
Check in was very slow, even though we told them we travelled quite far and we were with kids. Even the food we ordered at the recepcion area came late.
The worst part was when we asked for late check out and at first it was not approved, even though they were aware we are 3 family rooms and all of us unsatisfied. Furthermore, after the second attempt we got to use only one room. But still the whole attitude of all staff was terrible.

Still, a very enjoyable stay. We may come back.
nice location on a promontoire. Great view.
Very amicable and well trained staff, always happy to help.
Great breakfast. Lots of choices.
Very good quality.
Property needs a thorough rehabilitation.
The only access to the pool and beach by many stairs may be a challenge to some.
To go to the South building and rooms from the pool, one has to go through the restaurant..
A shuttle between Imperial and Eva Palace should be organized from lobby to lobby.

Good for a stopover would not spend a week here
The welcome from the staff in the hotel at our arrival
The breakfast was a complete bun fight and honestly not that special. We were told due to the queue that the breakfast would last a bit longer but when i arrived back they were dismantling everything

Not worth the price
Has an old world charm about it. It could be from an Agatha Christie novel. The view over the bay is amazing.
It is tired and needs a renovation. Our suite had a huge noisy air conditioning unit next to the door. The shampoo bottle was empty.
3.0 / 10.0
We had a mix of good and bad at the Grecotel Eva Palace, sadly below expectation.
Location & facilities
No availability on the transfers to Corfu Town. No availability of sun lounges at pool or beach. Struggled to get towels at pool & in Gym. A/C not working in GYM. Non sea facing rooms below acceptable standard.

Eva palace a wonderful dream
The hotel is spectacular, I had never been in a more beautiful place before, the views are breathtaking and you feel you're exactly on holiday the minute you step in . A big thanks to Silvia, Nefeli and the blonde cleaner I believe her name was Aneta, they were wonderful with us and with our little Sofia, they know who we are. Thank you Eva palace!!
The curtains of the room were too light so all the light was coming in the morning and for who is used to sleep in the dark that could be a problem
To reach the beach it takes lots of time and energy as there are so many stairs (if you forget something in the Room it would take 15 mins to go up and down again) maybe a lift would help?

Overpriced. Not a 5 stars experience and not kids friendly.
The buffet is nice with a lot of options, it’s an extemsive one and the view is enjoyable.
The beds are comfortable and the rooms and not tight, we enjoyed the spacious balcony.
So mang things i ddnt like:
- as a guest coming with my family and children, i found that the property wasn’t easily accessible or easy to walk around in strollers with kids. We kept on carrying the kids up and down so many stairs to get to the pool or the beach area which was quite exhausting for us. My kids are 3 and 1 year and 3 months.
- the balcony in our room had colons with spaces between them which kept me worried about my baby sliding in between at everytime we were at the balcony.
- the telephone rarely had a connection and was off most of the time, so we couldn’t reach the front desk whenever we wanted. And even when it did work, they would answer one time out of three.
- my mom had another room on the same floor and had problems with her wi-fi signal, she kept contacting them to fix it and would tell her we will send the IT and noone came.
- i asked for a few things for my room ( toothbrush, scale..) i ddnt get them.
- the bathroom cleanliness and the tidying of the room are not 5 stars standards, i would say they are ok.
Alll in all, not a 5 stars experience.

Disappointing
Corfu Imperial being close to it and availability to use their beach and services since Eva Palace was so disappointing.
Room was very unclean. Floor was dusty, behind and under the bed was super dusty as well as behind bedside table. Towels didn’t smell clean. As soon as you stepped into the room it smelled of sewage everytime.
Beach was very small and not very clean.
We complained and no one took us seriously for half of our stay. They only updated us halfway through our stay.
WiFi does not properly work anywhere in the hotel.
Lift is very slow, old and dirty.
Overall the hotel does not look like online, it is very outdated and it does not meet the standards of a 5 star hotel.

Lovely hotel!
The hotel has a great large pool and a private beach but very hard to get a chair at the beach as people place their towels on the seats in the best spots quite early then come back when it suits them.
The hotel breakfast is great with plenty of options.
When we arrived we were placed in a very run down room
that had a very mouldy smell to it and no view that we had paid for and after our request to move they placed us in the room we paid for which was a sea view pool room. Which was lovely large with a gorgeous view.
The big groups book the bus into town and you are likely to miss out if you don’t put your name in the bus list at the front desk by 9am in the morning for the 6pm bus to old town that returns at 10pm. If you are not on the hotel bus and would like to go into old town for dinner or a walk around the taxi fee is around 40 euro each way.

Everything was awful. But we thank Nefeli, we appreciate you for all you did. You are the best.
First of all, a big thank you to NEFELI for everything she did for us. She was basically the reason we stayed.
We want to thank Nefeli for her kindness, for her understanding and how calm she remained when we had all these complaints. To be honest we were so catfished by this hotel it was just not okay. We also want to thank Nefeli for taking care of the breakfast service to our room, the upgrade in the room and the cake and wine for our anniversary. We really appreciate you Nefeli because you made our stay better.
You can see that she really loves her job and the way she handles and communicates she belongs to the best of the best hotels.
EVERYTHING:
The first day when we arrived to the hotel the area of Kommeno smelled like rotten eggs. Second, the hall where our room was smelled like the most cheapest air perfume ever. We usually use it for cars after going to a car wash. Thirdly, entering the room it looked so old we were basically catfished - the rooms looked so fine and nice in pictures but in real life it was so old and dirty.
Moreover, our room was full of ants because they never constructed the walls or the floors. You can see it’s a very old building. The lights, the colour of the walls everything was just not okay comparing to the photo’s. The bathroom I don’t even want to explain how old and dirty it was.
And the most important thing: people who are vegan, vegetarians, jewish or muslims: do not go there!
I swear we came out of the room and went to the direction of the restaurant for getting breakfast: oh lord the smell of the pork it was just crazy and ongoing from the moment we reached the elevators till even a few meters going to the pool. We asked for eggs omelette & waited 15m during that time my husband asked 3 times and we didn't get it so we walked away.
This place was full of old people: i have nothing against them with al due respect, but as a young couple/family with a child: don’t go there. We used the pool one time because they were staring as they never seen younger people in bikini.
Anyways the smell is still in my head and it was not okay.
Also when they cleaned the room we never got new earplugs (where you clean your ears with) and new soap, so we bought them ourselves.
Last complain: when we went to the beach the last day we asked for new towels for the beach but one of the employee (with glasses) she said we don’t have it anymore and we needed it so my husband got annoyed and get back and he came back with three.
I blame the managers of the hotel for this: they need to change a lot.

Beautiful hotel!
Absolutely fantastic breakfast - probably the best selection I've ever been offered. Beautiful views around the property and really loved that we were able to visit the Imperial while we stayed at Eva. Highly recommend renting the pedal boat with slide! Staff were all very kind and accommodating as well.
Check in and check out took a bit longer than expected, however the welcome drink was very tasty.

Lovely stay
The hotel is in a beautiful area and is a part of 3
Resorts so you can venture to the other resorts for dinner or beaches etc. The staff were incredibly friendly, very good with children. Any issue we had was solved promptly. The breakfast is brilliant with so much options.
Parts were a bit dated and In need of a refresh but overall the resort is beautiful. The shop on site could do with more options, like even milk. and there are a lot of steps, not much that can be done there as it’s on a hill but with the number of babies or kids staying it would be useful for buggies. It was quite inconvenient taking the baby out if we wanted to get back to the room, especially if she had fallen asleep.

Most beautiful location
The location, nature, garden and pool area were beautiful. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Our son was very happy with the Grecoland teacher. They played chess and darts, drew, listened to music and chatted.
No heated pool.
Some guests played loud music.

Not 5 star
Buffet was great.
the bungalows were very tired and all needed renovation. Wifi was terrible and non existent in some rooms. Sea view that we paid for was not as described - huge tree and bush covering entire view of the sea! The additional beds in the Jnr suite were so small you can only fit a small child on them.

Holiday Paradise with service to match!
Staff were superb, very friendly and professional. Great location, with beautiful views, we arrived the first day and were treated so well and with a great welcome by all the staff especially Elenini and Maria in the pool bar! Nice private beach, great breakfast area, with beautiful sunrise views.
1 recommendation is to have the details and advertise the local restaurants for choice for guests to eat outside the hotel. This is a very important part of being part of a hospitality community in an area, by sharing and promoting smaller businesses in the area such as Avalle Bistro just 1km away. Other than this it's hard to find anything we did not like.
7.0 / 10.0
Not sure we would go there again too big and impersonal
The room and view were lovely and lots of facilities
It’s almost too big. The staff try hard but after a long trip to get there we were left for ages having our welcome drink only to find that they still hadn’t found out if our room was ready even though it was after our check in time. I also ordered an early breakfast (3 times) and it never arrived so ended up having to leave without it.
