Ideal stopover

We drove to Calais and had to stop in Germany because France, Belgium etc would mean self isolating in the UK. The hotel is a few minutes from the border and close to motorways, has a free parking by the entrance, a restaurant for the evening and a breakfast. The place only has 4 or 5 rooms, the owners family are nice. The room and bathroom were super large and clean.

Most likely come again when visiting the area.

The room was enormous, with a french window onto a terrace, clearly recently refurbished. Lovely shower and very comfortable bed. Breakfast was good, plates with cheese and ham had been individually wrapped to enable a continental breakfast despite buffet restrictions. Restaurant Sasso part of the hotel was also good with spacious outdoor seating.

Sehr zuvorkommende und grosszügige Gastgeber. Ich habe ein grosses Apartement-Zimmer bekommen, obwohl ich nur ein Einzelzimmer gebucht habe. Unkomplizierte, familiäre Atmosphäre.

Empfehlenswertes Hotel

Das Hotel liegt sehr ruhig am Marktplatz vor der Kirche. Dort gibt es auch zahlreiche kostenlose Parkplätze. Wir konnten das Auto dort während unserer füntägigen Radtour problemlos stehen lassen. Mein EZ wurde leider übersehen, aber ich erhielt sehr schnell (als Upgrade) ein DZ. Die DZ im EG sind schön renoviert, sehr groß, tolles Bad und man fühlt sich im großzügigen Zimmer sehr wohl. Bett und Bad alles top, Frühstück auch sehr gut.

Bei unserer Anreise am Sonntagabend hatte das Restaurant geschlossen. Aber na ja, einen Ruhetag braucht es halt auch. Es gab aber einige Alternativen in der Nähe. Also alles gut...

Wer eine ruhige Übernachtung in Grenznähe sucht und im Haus gut essen will ist hier gut aufgehoben

Bei meiner zweiten Übernachtung habe ich die Nacht in einem EZ im 1.OG verbracht. Diese Zimmer sind nur teilrenoviert und können mit den DZ im EG nicht mithalten. Raumgröße und Bett waren gut. Beim zweiten Aufenthalt war das Restaurant geöffnet und es war sehr gut besucht. Die Karte ist überschaubar was eher ein Vorteil ist und das Essen war sehr gut. Die zwei französischen Köche verstehen ihr Handwerk! Das gesamte Personal war sehr freundlich.

Das Bad könnte mal eine Renovierung gebrauchen...

Alles Perfekt ich komme gerne wieder

Super Lage zum übernachten nach dem Baden in der Saarland Therme. Das Zimmer war sehr groß und hatte sogar eine kleine Küche.

Der Wasserdruck in der Dusche hätte besser sein können.

Kurzfristige Verfügbarkeit , großes Apartement, ruhige Lage im Ortskern mit Restaurant & Biergarten. Frühstücksstandard mit leckerem Rührei und frisch gebrühtem Kaffee.

WLAN nur im Gastraum, nicht auf dem Zimmer.

Sehr freundliches Personal, Parken direkt am Hotel möglich, ruhige Lage und sehr große Zimmer

Das Zimmer war nur auf den ersten Blick sauber und in Ordnung. In den Ecken, hinter den Nachttischschränkchen oder hinter der Heizung wurde länger nicht sauber gemacht. Unter der Heizung stand ein Auffanggefäß für Abtropfwasser inkl. 100 toter Fliegen, auch des längeren wohl nicht geleert. Im Bad diverse unschöne Stellen, Sprung im Waschbecken, rostiger Mülleimer. Dem Fernseher fehlte das Stromkabel ?! Insgesamt sehr schade, denn das Haus ist wirklich charmant.
