Location. Cross the road and you are in the old town.

Tatty room. Beds and mattresses from ikea, it would seem. Smell of old carpet - probably because they haven't changed it since the smoking ban came in to force. Worst of all was the attitude of the guy in charge of the breakfast room, which means that we will never book with this company again. He clearly doesn't understand the difference between 'a guest' and 'an economic unit'. We couldn't get out of the place quickly enough.

The premises were clean, the bed was comfortable and there was good pressure in the shower.

The decor was a bit dowdy, specifically the carpets and the wardrobes. Not a deal breaker, but not particularly attractive.

Convenient, close to train station and center. Surprisingly quiet for the location. The room was a comfortable size with good amenities.

Sad but true, when I entered the room there were numerous stains on the rug throughout the room. It was an immediate turnoff, but the room was clean. I have vacation rentals in Oregon and a clean carpet is extremely important. The hotel needs to replace the carpet immediately...the room is small and it would not cost much to replace. A clean looking rug is a much more welcoming entry into a room and a person's stay!

I booked the hotel as you got restaurant and bar but was very disappointed when it was closed due to maintenance. That is not mentioned on your homepage. The 2 first days (evening time) I could not use the internet and do my work as the connection was very bad.

Heating system was over , shut down at 10:00 pm till 5:00 am. My self and my family were frozen inside the room. My 3 months old baby and wife could not sleep. After asking many times to fix it the hotel said “they could not do nothing” !!! No plan B for a movable heating system! Really poor answer and situation handling by the hotel

Very spacious, comfortable, convenient!

We had more than enough room for our family of 5. The beds were comfortable, and most impressive of all, the pillows were also very comfy. That is unusual for most hotels we stay at in/around Germany. The walk to the train station was not even 5 minutes.

The room wasn't quite ready for us even an hour and a half past the posted check-in time, and I had shared our expected arrival time. So the lovely chambermaids had to work around the kids and luggage to get the other beds set up. Not a huge inconvenience, but it wasn't ideal.
