Let down by only one error ,

Great location. Lovely staff. Super breakfast. Fantastic communication. Late check in process was brilliant and easy to use.

A used towel was left in our bathroom and wasn’t replaced so we did not have enough towels for us both. Made us wonder if the cleaning of the room had been fully completed, but it was after midnight when we arrived and we were too tired to make a fuss!

Good location for an overnight stay but bring your own hand soap just in case.

The checking was easy, as we arrived after the reception closure.

There was no soap in the room, we were not able to request any at reception until the morning after as the reception was closed for the night. We were woken up at 4am with a weird noise, it sounded like gravel were "raining", my husband thought it was the radiator.

Just the right distance to break my journey from port to destination. Comfortable and clean room, friendly staff, very good food evening and breakfast. Very agreeable stopover, close to the motorway.

Nothing to note at the hotel. My satnav was not all that helpful though. Might have been useful to know it is situated on a trading estate.

There isn't a restaurant. There is a breakfast place only as restaurant as the hotel claim there is one closes at 6pm, so if you looking to get dinner this is close. There isn't many restaurants around.

Nice place and comfortable.

Quality /price, very good. Nothing luxuirous but nice and clean. Breakfast buffet was nice. Room was clean and bed was nice. Check in was easy and you can check in at any time, just be sure to let them know.

The published time for breakfast was 7:30 and we had no problem during the weekdays, but our stay lasted during the weekend, and they did not serve breakfast until 8, which was not what was published. That affected our travel. Also, during the week, they are good at changing our towels and making the bed but again, on the weekend, even though it was not published, this service was not available. When we returned to the hotel on a Friday night, we had no towels and had to leave early on Saturday morning. Again, this lack of service affected our travel. We were able to get new towels, but only after the reception opened up at 8 AM. When we addressed this with the reception, nothing was done to adjust the price we paid. In our opinion, we paid for the room and certain services, part of which we did not receive. In other words, we did not get what we paid for.

Great bathroom and super-comfortable bed. Looks to be recently refurbished, excellent location if you are arriving via Caen ferry at night and heading south (or to stop off on the way if you have an early ferry the next day).

It is a no-frills hotel. The staff are polite and helpful the breakfast is ok but do not expect anything cooked.

I was staying here over the weekend and the bar and restaurant is shut on Friday Saturday and Sunday so it wasn't perfect for me but the hotel has a really comfortable bed and was clean and has a bath as well as a nice shower
