Friendly host and great for hikers

Great location for hiking the GR34. Host was very kind and welcoming, especially to hikers. Room very quiet, comfortable bed and hot powerful shower. The dog Tia is very sweet too.

Great location

Stayed here several times before, location is great, short walk to the restaurants. The owner is lovely, nothing is too much trouble for her. Nice to have parking which can be an issue in Cancale. We will definitely stay here again.

Great hotel close to the town centre.

Sonia was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and a good size. The breakfast was very good with a great selection of cakes alongside the usual breakfast food. Nice and close to all the shops and restaurants so a very relaxing couple of days. We even got free parking outside which was great.

Sonia was lovely and very welcoming. There was limited but free parking, which is a bonus these days and we were able to leave our car in the car park prior to our check-in time. Our room was large and comfortable and breakfast was very good.

Towels were extremely thin, but this was a two star hotel so all in all we were very happy.

Great value, loveley location

were given a choice of rooms due to potential rain noise on the Velux. We liked the room and although it rained heavily were not all disturbed. great choice at breakfast (continental). Would stay again.

Parking is limited however this is stated when we booked overall nothing untoward. There is on street parking a short distance from the hotel so would have been okay even if we arrived later.

Nice hotel by the sea in the centre of Cancale

We loved the location, it is in walking distance from the hustle and bustle of Cancale port. The property is located few metres from the sea and easily reached by car. The host, Sonia, is very welcoming and knowledgeable. She promptly helped to sort a little mishap upon arrival and was nice and attentive during our stay. Our room was very big and comfortable

The walls are very thin, our room was close to the reception which caused some noise during the night and especially in the morning due to other guests having breakfast. Also, the room was a bit chilly, probably the radiator was slightly undersized for such a big room

The owner was very welcoming, opened the doors before time for me. In the evening, they invited me to their Christmas celebration among friends. The next day she even drove me to the train station! So much warmth and heart!

A very friendly helpful lady runs the place. The place was very close to the sea front. The breakfast was self-service with a good selection of items

Parking was very tight. The shower/toilet was separated from the bedroom by a sliding door that afforded very little privacy.

Good value, very friendly owner

We have stayed here several times before, there is a new owner who has only been there a few months. She was very friendly and very helpful, the stay couldn't have been better. Our room was a bit small but very good value for money. Only a short walk to the restaurants, will definitely stay here again.

We are so pleased to have found such a nice place to stay in Cancale.

The location was perfect for us, next door to an excellent restaurant and parking was available at the hotel which was a huge bonus in such a busy place. The bed was big and comfortable and breakfast plentiful and good value. the owner could not have been nicer nor more helpful.

The bathroom was a bit cramped and the room a little basic but great value for the amount charged.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast included lovely fresh bakery items. The location was very convenient and it was a very pleasant stroll into town.

Basic room close to the beach

Nice location, close to the beach. Hotel has parking available (but make sure to ask about this upfront). Basic hotel room, but quiet.

The receptionist could have been more friendly. We also heard him yelling at a delivery guy, which is not very professional.

Very comfortable beds, friendly staff. Great location.

The bathroom door had 5 cm between the wall, So everybody could watch the person inside use the toilet/shower. The shower had no side, the water was all over the place. Windows were directly to the carpark just a few cm above the street level. Floor was dirty, I caught all the dust on my slippers.

Good location, dog friendly, free parking , pleasant staff.

Very friendly welcome, the owner rushed out as soon as we arrived to move his car so we had a space. Room is basic but was clean and exactly what we needed. Very dog friendly and location good for walking in to the restaurants on the quay and very near the beach for a dog walk in the morning. We didnt have breakfast but it looked good.

Would have liked a curtain on the window in bathroom as it was a bit overlooked. I hung up a towel for a bit of extra privacy.
