It’s always peaceful and food good

Staffing was sparce and service not 5 star- still waiting on eggs ordered for breakfast and having sat reading paper for 30mins on bar area had to go up to bar myself to get menu and drink ! Lack of information on hotel facilities on the apt - no room service menu on apt despite referring you to In room dining option. Spa facilities very limited beyond treatments which are expensive and too small for size of hotel - not competitive anymore in terms of being a spa hotel! What detracted from r&r was car charging facilities - not at hotel reception and fast charge not working . Lucky had own lead with me but no support to help how to use and placed in exposed area with poor WiFi (you needed to down load an apt to use so forced to run back and forth to action to get connection) I got soaked setting it up .

The food choice at blarney bar is not a great selection. Burger was great but menu is lacking, wish the loughside grill was open but only open at end of the week. Great whiskey selection poor beer selection. This did not affect my stay tho.

The location is beautiful Food and drink are excellent Restaurant manager was extremely helpful and attentive We used all bars and restaurants and all very good, including afternoon tea The atmosphere is calm and relaxing and views lovely

The room was very disappointing for a 5* hotel as water was cold and cracks on floor tiles that cut my husbands toe. We have stayed many times and this is the first occasion where the room hasn't been up to standard which was disappointing as we were staying the 2 nights after our wedding and picked Lough Erne due to fact it has never disappointed. I had paid for an upgraded room, but hotel rooms we stayed in before, which are cheaper, actually much nicer, so kinda left us feeling a little deflated. We also advised reception staff of this, and no acknowledgement was made. The water was resolved, but fact tiles cut his toes not mentioned in any way. We dont like to complain, but the hotel won the hotel of the year and is 5*, and this is not what is expected. Feedback was requested yesterday, and I provided and again no acknowledgement or correspondence received.

Mixed feelings about our stay.

Hotel beautiful. Staff lovely. Food in bar very tasty. Spa lovely. Treatment very enjoyable.

We stayed in a lodge. Fire not working. Heat not working correctly on night one of our 2 night stay. All reported to reception on morning 1. Heating issue corrected. Fire not fixed. Strong smell on 2nd night of stay in bathroom of drains. All concerns reported on departure.

Overall we enjoyed our stay, I would recommend booking a treatment in the spa to avoid disappointment.

An excellent location and the grounds are beautiful. Hotel and lodges are lovely, staff are very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was exceptional. Lovely walks around the grounds and a good selection of restaurants for dining. Concierge service was also a plus.

The pool area is very nice although we were disappointed that you can’t access the other “quiet” areas unless paying extra for a treatment as check in is from 4pm and children time in the pool is also from 4-6pm - as we had dinner booked that evening, we could only go to the spa area within those times meaning it was extremely loud and busy. We also stayed in a lodge which didn’t offer room service and there was no mini bar or fridge in the room so we couldn’t have a drink/refreshment in the room before dinner.

Spa didn't meet expectations

The hotel is in a lovely setting and the rooms were beautiful and a good size.

The spa was a lot smaller and not as well maintained as expected. There were tiles coming lose in steam room.

Stunning tranquil location, outstanding staff

Lake view location - stunning Staff were second to none Helpful Smiling always Nothing too much bother Helpful, kind - totally made the whole vacation - TBG - we had this reception everywhere we went in the Enniskillen area - such lovely friendly people!!!

Room was above the entrance so revellers leaving to go to their chalet was noisy but only for a short time frame & I hadn’t realised I’d left my window open so prob noisier as a result - otherwise place was beautifully quiet - drinkers were only one night post wedding so totally understandable. One day lunch order was incorrect but went above & beyond to rectify! Otherwise couldn’t fault it.

Amazing break in a magical place. Can’t wait to return!

Gorgeous property in stunning location. Hotel was very luxurious, staff were amazing. The reception team went out of their way to ensure our stay was perfect. Dinner at Catalina restaurant was flawless, staff were wonderful and the food was incredible.

A wonderful relaxing stay.

Error of £56 in food bill. Manager was to sort. Was still overcharged when checking out 3 days later. Not good enough. Pasta dish with tomato sauce varied on different nights. Staff said it depended on chef each night. If advertised as tomato sauce it should be tomato sauce. Was very much a cheese sauce one night. Charged .80p for dash of mi-wadi in water. No restaurant/bar service when sitting outside spa.

Property was incredible, scenic walks and overall cleanliness. Facilities were great and we also enjoyed the spa.

During dinner service it just seemed very slow, Booked table for 7:30pm and didn’t finish our meal until 10:30pm. Other tables with larger numbers took priority and unfortunately it just felt as we and some of the other couples were left waiting slightly longer for the clearing of plates and additional elements.

It is a lovely hotel. The room was v comfortable and had a nice Lakeside position. Bed very comfortable. For price i think breakfast should have been included. At breakfast the bulk of the meal is buffet -which had good choice , however if you wanted a poached egg instead of the on offer scrambled -and i did want poached egg -although i did wait for a while ( 10 mins) before i went up for my buffet; i had well finished before the poached egg actually arrived. That system does not work. I did not like the homemade potato bread at all - greasy - nor did my partner .On toast would have been nicer.

no fridge in room - for the price i expect a fridge -esp as you are 5 star. I had medication i always keep in fridge at home. Towels provided were fine but no facecloth -my partner( female ) would have liked one to wash face when removing makeup. No waste bin in bathroom

Perfection - simple as

Resort was a 10/10, met and then exceeded our expectations from check in to check out. The room was brilliant, the Thai spa was a perfect experience, as we stayed to celebrate our birthday. I would reccomend this hotel to anyone who can listen.

The breakfast selection was disappointing, as the was the location and service. It was a Sunday morning, so possibly it was busy, but it was very busy, and very slow.

Honeymoon stay.

The property was absolutely beautiful, the seating area outside was perfect as We were able to enjoy the sun.

We were hugely disappointed by the bar staff, the drinks took longer to come to the table so much so that we got our food before our drinks. We had to go up to the bar numerous times as no one came near us to ask, I felt hugely uncomfortable doing so as the staff were chatted amongst themselves meaning the drink took longer to get made there was a larger party in the same room as us that seemed to be asked for their drinks order a lot of times.

The Breakfast was very nicely presented and the produce was extremely good. The staff were excellent and extremely attenuative to any needs or requests. The grounds were clean and well maintained.

The things I did not like were minimal, the over all experience was more than these. The door to the gardens, there was like a mini course. there was no clear path to the area within the building. The bar food wasn't anything amazing, but the chips were lovely.

room was a bit pricey for just a 1 night stay. (breakfast should be included in price) although the rooms and staff where great i wouldn't make the 2 hour + travel to stay again.
