Pleasant.

Good location in a charming building. The elderly gentleman who works there was great and very helpful.

Wifi. Was staying for work and very much needed good connectivity. Not so. Owner blamed my laptop despite connection in the dining room being much better (still not great)

The room was extremely small, barely enough space to move around. The shower was very cramped and difficult to get into. Everything looked very outdated, which gave the impression of being unclean. The 4 a.m. train was really disturbing, and the “double bed” felt more like a child’s bed.

Very disappointing for the price

It was within easy walking distance of the centre. It had a good breakfast and the option to sit in the pleasant garden.

The room was tiny and had no tea/coffee facility. There was a railway line that crossed just outside the hotel and it was incredibly loud every time a cargo train went past.

Charming and quirky, in a great location

Charming, comfortable and quirky hotel, in a great location , close to the centre. Hidden from the street in a courtyard it provided exactly what we needed for an overnight stay in Avignon

Overall, for the price, I think it was quite good value for money, but I would pay more to get more.

The hotel had character and the breakfast area was good, with the option of eating outside in the back dining area. There was nothing much else to the property (no bar, pool, etc) but it worked ok as a base for excursions and walking in to the old town.

My room had a double bed but there was barely enough room to walk around it. There was just enough shelf storage for my clothing (I don't know how two people would fit in) and the bathroom was tiny. The sink was literally the size of a shoebox, with no plug design built in, so shaving, etc had to be done with running water.

Hotel 5 minutes near station (access through tunnel) and nice backyard garden for continental breakfast.

Noise level high as hotel is next to tracks of cargo trains, and rather small single rooms with tiny open bathroom.

The rooms in the main house look great but we were put in a separate side unit and it was not very nice. Floors not cleaned well either.

The exterior was pleasant.

The air conditioning unit that made loud noises all night, as the trains rattled by. When we mentioned the A/C to staff in the morning she knew exactly what we were referring to.

I would recommend trying somewhere else

Nice little garden

Trains were very loud. Room was a bit cramped. Hall was poorly lit and dismal. Pleasant elderly man ( the only person there until the morning) made a massive mistake on my daughter’s bill and charged her x10. No one could refund / resolve the issue and it took more than a week to get her money back.

The room is very spacious, the breakfast is like banquets - absolutely delicious and with a great variety. The hosts are friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating.

A great location and comfortable stay for my brief overnight visit to Avignon.

Great location within easy walking distance to the city centre – restaurants and attractions. Peaceful shady rear courtyard for some space to relax. Some staff speak good english and were very accommodating re leaving my bags from check out for collection later in the day.

The stairs to the upper level rooms are a little precarious and extreme care needs to be taken when carrying your bags up and down, especially if you are an older person. The cheaper rooms are quite small and would be very congested if there were two of you and you were staying for several days.

Delightful breakfast & beautiful country stay

We were delighted with our stay here in Avignon. We had a big day of traveling and were grateful to receive a warm greeting at check in by a lovely gentleman. The room was comfortable and tastefully decorated and had a beautiful view over a the gorgeous courtyard. Free and secure parking, very quiet area, minutes to walk to the old town to explore, and one of the most delicious breakfasts we’ve had so far in France that could be enjoyed outside. Thank you!

Good location for station. Good breakfast. Nice couryard garden at rear. Pleasant manager.

Room 10 is a tiny double. The toilet and shower/sink are each behind a sliding screen that is hard to move and neither shut properly. The rainshower head is too big for the tiled floor area so water goes everwhere, spilling out into the bedroom. Clearly a known issue as a folded towel was in place on the floor, but this was soaked in a few seconds. Small shower head was broken.

Lovely old building to the rear and a nice garden.

The property is very close to the old city wall and within walking distance of the city centre. The staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was good. Nice bathroom with overhead shower. The garden area is nice for al fresco dining.

The photographs on Booking.com are all of the rear of the hotel which does not show the whole picture. The front of the hotel is on a run down street and almost underneath the railway station. Trains and station announcements can be heard in the rooms and garden. There was a festival taking place and the price was increased to an unrealistic level for the standard of the hotel.

Breakfast was decent with a variety of pastry, fruits, vegetables and drinks

We were given a room not in the main building, but in the side building with the entrance even behind the main gate. The room is shabby with dirty towels that we asked to replace upon arrival, but eventually, new towels also had stains. The overall condition of the room is bad (see photos).
