The elevator is an antique, quite beautiful. Location is the best, right in the center of Madrid, 1/2 block from the subway.
I enjoyed everything about it.

room clean, a bit basic but fine for a nights stay. excellent location close to centre and just around the corner to a taxi rank ideal for train or airport
hard to locate as it is on third floor of an apartment block and I walked past the entrance several times.

The location is amazing, the accommodation was spotless!! The staff was extremely kind!
The only downside was that there was no fridge to keep our drinks cool.
