Poggio degli Oleandri: cottage with pool and lots of relaxation

We enjoyed our stay and will return if we have the opportunity. The hosts were a pleasure, always readily available and always ready to help. The grounds and pool were a treat. The sole bedroom is not large but spacious enough and with plenty of storage for clothing. We found the bed very comfortable. The living room has a sleep sofa, also very comfortable. We were there in August so all of our living was outside. The pool is wonderful. The outdoor shower so nice that the indoor shower was never used. If you don't like dogs this is not the place for you. There is a friendly dog on the premises. She received lots of love from us during the day but at night her barking was a bit troublesome. She was only doing her job keeping the premises safe but safe I think mostly from rabbits and perhaps shadows of rabbits. The location is about 10 minutes drive from the American Nettuno-Sicily Cemetery, Nettuno Centro, and Nettuno beaches. About the same distance I believe to Anzio but we were spending our time in Nettuno rather than Anzio so I cannot write with certainty the driving time to Anzio. The nearest train station is Lido di Lavinio about 5 minutes drive. Nettuno station about 10 minute drive.
