Lovely place!

Everything! Beautiful Chateau in lovely surroundings, amazing garden. The rooms are big and very well taken care of and clean. The hosts were a lovely couple doing there absolute best for there guests. The breakfast was excellent, served in a beautiful dining room. The Chateau was remarkable silent during the night. Love to come back!

Absolutely nothing to complain about, loved the place! Maybe put up an electric car charger at the parking in the future? 😊

The hosts were very friendly, kind, helpful and welcoming. We felt right at home. The château is beautiful and the room was spacious, comfortable and clean. There is even a fridge in the corridor where the host would keep cold bottles of water for the guests during hot days. Breakfast was always prepared with care with more than enough to eat including a selection of quality foods. The location is very nice and not too far from the center of Huy, especially by car. For walkers, it's approximately 30 mins on foot. We enjoyed every single minute of our stay!

Exceptional

The garden is serene and exceptional. Woods are pretty to hike and jog for a comfortable 6 km at least. The owners are great people, friendly and caring. Breakfast exceeded our expectations. You will need a car for dinner. Good location for daily visits to Liege and Namur.

It is not about "not liking". It is a fact you must know: The mansion is built in 1588, and the floors creak and you must be respectful to not make noise at late night. That being said, we slept really good and noise was never a problem.

The chateau is simply gorgeous and special.

The property is very beautiful, just by the forest, and you can enjoy true silence there. The apartment was spacious, cosy and tastefully furnished, with comfortable beds. The garden is large, breathtakingly beautiful. The breakfast was lovingly prepared and generous. The host was warm, sweet kind and you can feel that she truly takes care of her guests. ❤️

The best stay we have every had in Huy

The stay was pleasant from the booking until we left after 4 nights in the Chateau. Joelle was a very pleasant host and she really took good care of us. We ordered early breakfast - no problem and it was so delicious, the cleaning was superb, the bathroom very spacious and I could just continue. We didn't use the garden and facilities, but the view was fantastic.

A chance to switch off in beautiful surroundings

Our room was really a suite, which was a lovely surprise and gave us the space to really relax for our visit. Breakfast was generous, including home-made jam, and our host encouraged us to make sandwiches for the day. She also gave us lots of great tips for local visits and for restaurants in nearby Huy. I would definitely come back.

The region is quite hilly and restaurants are in Huy, so a car is essential for evening meals. However, the old part of the town is just a 10-minute drive away, with easy parking.

Two lovely nights in the Ardennes

Chateau is beautiful. The surrounding area is also very nice. Owners are very helpful and they are more than happy to tell you more about the history of the chateau (and the entire region). Spacious room, good facilities, great breakfast and lovely garden. I will be back!

Die Unterkunft ist auserhalb in einem Wohngebiet ohne Auto oder Bus ist man etwas eingeschrenckt .Zu Fuß keine Restaurants oder Läden in der nahen Umgebung . ohne Navi ist die Unterkunft fast nicht zu finden

Séjour de charme dans une belle région de Wallonie

Très belle demeure avec un magnifique parc. A notre arrivée, notre hôtesse nous a accueillis avec attention en nous servant une tisane (autres boissons disponibles aussi) en nous donnant quelques explications sur le château et le parc et en nous encourageant à faire une promenade dans celui-ci ! Chambre très confortable avec un hall d'entrée / petit salon. Excellent petit-déjeuner, avec du pain fait maison, pris dans une belle salle à manger du château.

Fantastisch kasteel midden in de natuur en toch centraal.

Een prachtige plek met veel natuur rondom, de accommodatie tot in de puntjes schoon en verzorgd. Een geweldig lekker ontbijt met zelfgebakken brood en je mag gelijk je lunch klaarmaken plezier vriend eigenaren die allerlei tips over de omgeving hebben. In de omgeving vul cultuur en natuurschoon om te ontdekken.

Er is geen airconditioning, dus slapen met open ramen is bij warm weer een must. Hierdoor hadden wij last van muggen. We mochten een zelf meegenomen muggenhor met klittenband aanbrengen waardoor wij goed konden slapen. Warm bleef het natuurlijk wel.

Sehr nette Gastgeber, sehr gutes Preisleistungsverhältnis, Sauberkeit, schönes Vintage-Ambiente mit Liebe zum Detail und ohne Kitsch, sehr bequemes Bett, Wasser/Tee/Kaffee im Zimmer und täglich aufgefüllt, Willkommen-Drink sehr schön serviert, tägliche Reinigung, abgeschlossener Parkplatz, das Hotel und die Umgebung in der Natur fördern Entspannung, perfektes Frühstück mit leckeren selbstgebackenen Broten schön angerichtet und im stilvollem Raum serviert, großer Kühlschrank vor der Zimmertür.

Auf unsere schon bei der Buchung angegebene Laktoseintoleranz wurde nicht eingegangen. WLAN unbrauchbar und sehr schwaches Mobilfunk, was problematisch sein kann.

Wir waren rundherum zufrieden und fühlten uns extrem Wohl in dem Schloss.

Das Schloss ist mit sehr viel Liebe von Joelle und ihrem Mann eingerichtet und wird von den BEIDEN hervorragend betreut. Das Frühstück wird für jeden Gast individuell zusammengestellt und Joelle hat immer ein paar Tipps.
