A wonderful place to stay.

Such a lovely place and the hosts make it so easy to be a guest there. Beautiful grounds, lovely old house, friendly host, fun dogs. Close to beaches, with beautiful country walks just outside the front door. What’s not to love? I highly recommend the Indian takeaway in North Walsham that you will find menus for in the house. (Boris and Tim were brilliant about providing folders full of information on great things to see and do in the locality.)

Peace of paradise in Norfolk

Boris and Tim are exceptionally welcoming. Their home and gardens are tranquil and cosy. I couldn't recommend this property enough. It is perfectly located to everything you would want to do or need whilst giving you a peaceful country escape. Thank you for sharing your property with our family, truly will be a stay to remember.

The perfect place for rest and recuperation.

Tim and Boris welcomed us into their home and showed us to our apartment. The apartment was clean and comfortable with a beautiful bathroom and views over the grounds. The gardens were stunning and we were encouraged to enjoy them with our dog. Our stay was very relaxed and probably the most dog friendly venue we have ever stayed in.

Great place to stay, ideal location, great hosts.

Location was ideal to visit surrounding areas, property is very beautiful, gardens are amazing, huge amount of space which would be ideal for children, very clean and comfortable rooms, huge amount of information provided within the room on places to visit/eat, facilities are perfect. Tim and Boris are incredibly nice, welcoming and friendly hosts. Nothing to complain about, would certainly stay here again.

The hall has been meticulously restored. The serene grounds are a serene tour de force. Our Beagle loved playing with the owners dog in the fully dog proof 4.5 acres. The roomy south apartment was similarly comfortably and tastefully furnished.

Lovely little getaway

The accommodation was perfect for a family of 4. The location was good and nice and quiet. Comprehensive book on things to do in the local area.

There isn't really anything except my husband said it would be great if there was a nespresso coffee machine in the kitchen (we did have access to the one in the orangery) but you don't always want to have to go all the way downstairs when half asleep.

Beautiful grounds. Clean and comfortable Friendly hosts Lovely history to the building Good location for driving to Mundersley and Cromer as well as the rest of Norfolk. We had some great walks along the coast.

The bathroom is beautiful with nice views but no shower. A slightly odd set up as the landing is shared by the other apartment who have a separate door to the kitchen Building work - we were hoping for peaceful mornings listening to the birdsong. However it’s a building site outside the bedroom as they demolish and rebuild a separate annex. The builders worked from 7.15am and were very noisy sliding rubble etc into the back of the pickup. Expect this to go on for a few months.

The hosts were extremely welcoming and ensures a relaxing environment in a gorgeous setting. The gardens were amazing.

Our room would have benefitted from a fan as it was so warm - but to be fair we didn’t ask if this was available.
