Wonderful place for a relaxing stay!

We have stayed here so many times and it just perfect. John and Lisa are amazing! Which matches the excellent standard of their lodge! It’s always spotless and beautifully decorated with a homely feel which you don’t get in many lodges! The hot tub is lovely and secluded. The location of the property is perfect and quiet. I highly recommend if you are looking for a quiet break away.

A beautifully decorated, spacious lodge with everything you need for a comfortable stay.

The lodge was spacious and extremely well equipped, with everything you could need. It was also beautifully decorated and finished to a very high standard.

We were aware there was no Wi-Fi, but didn’t know the TV wouldn’t have a signal. It wasn’t a big problem, but would have been handy with kids. It could possibly have been due to the cloud cover, and a DVD player and DVDs were available.

Warm and comfortable but no connectivity

The mobile home was very comfortable, spacious and warm. It was stormy in Norfolk during our stay and this provided an excellent place to retreat to after a day walking. There are plenty of walks nearby ranging from blowy coastal walks to tranquil woodland routes. The site overall was quiet and tucked away. We particularly liked the large sofas and bathrooms that had elbow room. The kitchen was large and reasonably well equipped.

If you need connectivity, this is not the place for you. There is no wifi and mobile signal on two different networks was a single bar in 4G at best. I had to drive 5 minutes up the road to Sainsbury's to download emails. Likewise, the TV signal is extremely poor and often unwatchable - so take a book; do your research of places to visit in advance; and download any films etc before you go. We were also disappointed to find the oven in need of a good clean and the baking trays used but unwashed / covered in congealed fat and food remnants.

Excellent lodge in a lovely, peaceful place. Best accommodation I have stayed in for many years. Clean, comfortable, good location to visit other places. Couldn't ask for more.

Very clean & spacious. The hot tub was lovely and clean and warm. Location was lovely for a relaxing break. Easy instructions to access property.

The only thing I could comment on was that the TV got a lot of interference but there were DVD’s in the cupboard and tbh we did not use it much.

A fabulous chilled out few days

Amazing a fabulous Lodge with everything you needed., beautiful decorated a lovely kitchen, lovely comfortable beds and fabulous showers, We went for just a chilled out couple of days which is what we got it’s a perfect location if you want peace and quiet . The hot tub is great to relax in , A nice friendly little pub just a short walk away which serves delicious food. What more could you want

Lovely Weekend Staycation

This lodge was so lovely and much bigger than it looks in the images! The living area, bedrooms and bathrooms are a great size. John and Lisa were great hosts during our stay and easy to contact for any questions. I would definitely recommend and love to come back to stay.

There's no phone signal in the bedrooms, so you just about get signal in the living area. As it was hot during our stay, there was a fan but it didn't have a stand so we couldn't really use this. There was no sponge to wash the dishes, just a cloth. BUT... I would still return to stay again :)

It was extremely spacious, clean and comfortable. The hot tub looked amazing but didn’t have time to use it.

Patio doors were broken and would not shut so had to get in touch with owner. Was quickly resolved though. Pillows were not comfortable. Would take my own next time.

Perfect Norfolk getaway for couples!

second time we visited! We really love it here. Place is quiet and tranquil. It has everything a home from home has. The drier is great plus. It’s very spacious and cosy! Has such a lovely feel! They went above and beyond for a special moment for us after some tough months! Thankyou for everything

The only moan I can have is the hot tub become a funny smell and colour 12 hours after we arrived despite following all the rules and was used for 10 minuets. Though a man come and checked after we arrived and put some more chemicals inside and explained it’s an older hot tub and it happens which is understandable. The only thing for us this time was the bed is so uncomfortable. We could feel the slats and everything you moved it creaked! We’re only small and I’m not sure it would hold anyone who was plus size. We used the sofas the last night but the hosts are so lovely I’m sure they will look into a more comfortable mattress :) x

Great stay

Beautiful Lodge had everything we needed, was worried that there was no WiFi but it was nice not to have WiFi, the lodge had a dvd player with movies to choose from, very friendly location with beaches near by and a pool on site, even had a few toys for our 6 yr old boy which was a nice touch. The owners were easily contactable & extremely helpful. We highly recommend this place & would love to come back.

Lovely quiet location. The hot tub was amazing. The Lodge is beautiful and has everything you need.

I know everyone likes a different type of bed but I found the mattress really uncomfortable. It was far too springy and did give me a really bad night's sleep. The TV reception was also a bit hit and miss. Other than those little grumbles it really is a great place to stay

Loveliest lodge

A beautifully equipped and decorated lodge perfectly located near dog friendly walks , pubs and beaches. The lodge is so clean and spacious, even on rainy days we enjoyed staying in and relaxing. The added extras that we'd forgotten such as dog bowls and kids buckets and spades were also supplied, a lovely thought for all types of guests. We can't wait to return and the hosts were very responsive and informative We also loved the pool and private hot tub which was a nice luxury

No WiFi but that can be a blessing! Only a minor thing but additional bowls/plates are helpful as you run out in one meal so we often washed up before the dishwasher was ever full. First World problems!

The lodge felt homely and comfortable. You have the ability to cook and menus for the local restaurants and takeaways. The use of the hot tub was an added bonus. It was quiet and in a great spot on the site.

There wasn't anything we didn't like. The only suggestion we have is some information on controls for the heating.

Nice place for a relaxing break.

Spacious, well equipped, peaceful location. Good facilities and good access to nearby attractions.

Disappointed the cleaner hadn’t been before we arrived. Bedding & towels from previous guests were left. We made up beds ourselves, cleaner arrived at 8pm with towels. We cleaned bathrooms ourselves too. Hot Tub not fully functioning, decking needs tlc. Edit: Further to your response stating we only booked 10 mins before turning up, we actually booked and paid in full on 7th March, 2 months prior to "turning up". This can be verified on this site. I also had an email, a phone call and texts in the weeks and days before arrival so this wasn't a late booking. The accommodation simply hadn't been cleaned. Your cleaner said she'd been told we'd cancelled yet I had a telephone conversation and exchanged texts with John on May 3rd giving our car details and receiving key codes.

I loved the lodge it was decorated modern and beautiful. It was a lovely size for families it was lovely to have a drier too. The hot tub was lovely too

The hot tub didn’t seem to have any lights so it was dangerous to get in and out. The only issue we found was the main bedroom bed was so uncomfortable you could feel the slats maybe a foam or better mattress would be more appropriate
