Amazing place and hospitality but definitely different

It is a fantastic location. There is no way in or out without host collecting. There’s a kitchen with no heating equipment. All food and drink has to be provided by the host. Food and drink was fantastic local homemade produce. There’s total privacy a beautiful bay to your selves and wonderful wildlife. Accommodation is unusual ! We loved it all but it will not suite the average holiday maker and you need to be agile

Magical, bewitching and unusual.

We totally fell in love with this place. The home is simple and charming. The hosts are wonderful. Luka and Danilo met us with the boat and also took us on a fascinating tour of the lake. Lydia cooked both breakfast and our evening meal with care and generosity. The location is private and beautiful. If you want company, nightlife or shops/markets to wonder around this is not the place for you. If you love wildlife and tranquility it is hard to beat.

Unique Skodar Lake experience: what a paradise

The family of Danilo, Luka and Lydia welcomed us in a fantastic way. The location of the House is idillic, and you are really enjoying the atmoshpere of the lake. The excusrsion to the Beska monastery was worth the boat trip. Lydia cooks extremely well and their company was something to remember. The room is simple and pleasant. We just reccomend a mosquito net, but its nature at its best!

Breathtaking views, secluded hideaway, fab hosts

The place was amazing! Incredibly secluded with breathtaking views. The host family were lovely and the food they cooked was amazing. They dropped us off in their boat when we wanted to go into town. Star gazing was other worldly. The room was clean and comfortable and they had a fully stocked bar.

This old fisherman’s cottage is a one in a million rental. The location is stunning as the views.

This place is perfect to get away from it all and relax in a stunning location overlooking Lake Skadar. The hosts are wonderfully funny and friendly. So are the cats. Breakfast was out of this world. As was dinner. All home-cooked and served on our terrace. If you have second thoughts about being isolated - the house is only accessible by boat - leave those at the harbour. You will never forget staying at Radus.

Note that there is no living room and not much cooking facilities. Not too much of a problem as life is lived outdoors and home-cooked meals are excellent.

a fabulous home stay miles from anywhere

if you are a nature lover , fisherman or ornithologist this is the perfect location. If you need civilisation and to meet other people avoid.

Radus is a home stay and it is basic but the cost is all about being the only people ( apart from hosts) for miles. accessible only buy boat you are a captive audience so expect to be presparedto cook or eat for 15 euro per head per meal

Danilo and Lydia are amazing hosts, the place is simply magic, this stay was a unique experience we will never forget. Coming to Radus, a 500 years old fisher village accessible only via boat, you will have a unique taste of the Nature around Skadar lake and the local culture.

Danilo and Lydia are very pleasant hosts and the Raduš place is simply amazing, real piece of nature and tranquility. Skadar lake/Raduš you will not forget. The boat connection (35-40 min from Pješačac plaža) to the house with Danilo is also something special - a bonus indeed.

Two days in a beautiful location

My family and I had a pleasant experience of living in fisherman village at Scadar lake bay Raduš. Owners of this cosy house provided nice hospitality and relishes local cuisine. After short excursion we understood how huge part of work they did to rebuilt this house for guests and how they love this place with history of they generations which have been living there along more than 300 years. Thank you so much Danilo, Lidia and Luka. I really recommend this place for perfect retreat and rebooting your mind:)

Chance in a lifetime to “get away”.

The location is amazing! The hosts were amazing! “Mum” or Lydia went out of her way to feed us,”Dad” Danilo ensured we were well boated about and always in good cheer and Luca made sure we were understood with his good English. If out of the way, local charm, nature and beautiful vistas are your thing, make sure you sign up here.

Having to troop downstairs outside to the toilet has its drawbacks. Phone ok but WiFi not there for us

To live pside very lovly lake is very sweet lifa and wonderfull pepole . hospitality is fabulous. food is delicouš.Swimung in this lake. is very lovly .we are swimming or jambing from hose to lake.

Moment hors du temps, havre de paix

L'endroit est idylique, on y accède par barque avec le propriétaire, et nous arrivons dans une petite crique seul au monde ! Le propriétaire est discret et sympa, avec de petites attentions qui vous attendent sur place. On recommande si vous cherchez un petit havre de paix, sans personne.

אחד המקומות המיוחדים והיפייפים למי שאוהב טבע פראי ומקומות שקטים, מבודדים ואותנטיים. מקום האירוח הוא בבית אבן יפייפה בבעלות המשפחה (שהם מתוקים ואדיבים להפליא) בתוך כבר דייגים עתיק ומבודד. ניתן להגיע אליו רק דרך סירה, לוקה ואבא שלו יאספו אתכם מנקודת המפגש (תארזו ציוד מינימלי וקל - יש מזגן ושמיכות ומגבות ומה שצריך וכל יום דאגו לנקות ולסדר) נהנינו ממי האגם נעימים עם כל הצמחייה והציפורים והברווזים שחיים בו. באחד הימים לוקה ואבא שלו לקחו אותנו לשיט קסום ומושקע, ראינו להקות של שקנאים ופרחי מים מופלאים ואיים בודדים ושחינו בחופים שקטים ונעימים. אמא של לוקה בישלה לנו אוכל טעים ומגוון ובשפע (אין שם איפה לבשל קחו בחשבון) ופינקו כל יום בקנקן מיץ רימונים טבעי טעים ביותר.

Site incroyable hors du temps, les repas sont excellents et en grande quantité, les lits sont confortables. Luca et sa famille sont accueillants.

Quel cadre magnifique ! Coupé de toute la civilisation, cet endroit est une vraie parenthèse au calme et en harmonie avec la nature. Hôtes très souriants et très discrets. Prévoyez des activités, jeux ou livres si vous ne souhaitez pas louer de canoë (50€/jour pour 2 canoës) ou faire une visite en bateau pour 120€/3h (sans ombre)

Il n’y a pas de possibilité de cuisiner un repas chaud. Les hôtes proposent un bon repas le soir uniquement.

Traumlage

Sehr schöne Lage direkt am See in einem abgeschiedenen Fischerdorf. Man kommt allerdings nur mit dem Boot hin also wenig Gepäck mitnehmen. Man wird dann vom Treffpunkt hingefahren.

Die Küche ist nicht zum kochen geeignet, da es keinen Herd gibt

Havre de paix unique au bord du lac Skadar

Incroyable lieu au milieu de la nature avec accès uniquement par bateau. Vous serez seul au monde…Cette maison pour y arriver il faut d’abord prendre une route magnifique (étroite) vers une baie où nous attendais l’hôte. 20 min de bateau sur le lac magnifique. On peut se baigner et pêcher facilement au pied de la maison. Dîner et petit déjeuner super bon ont été proposé. La chambre a 4 lits et la Clim. On a bien dormi et adoré l’accueil. Expérience inoubliable pour notre famille. Encore un grand merci !
