such a lovely time on Lake Skadar surrounded by the most beautiful scenery.

beautiful location and views, great use of the kayak to go out on the lake and a lovely little welcome gift.

you do really need a car to get to Karuč and to travel about day to day as there are no shops near by but if you’re looking for a peaceful retreat away from big cities it’s perfect.

Beauriful serene house

The property was well equipped, clean, well laid out and in a beautiful location.

To get to the property you need to be a confident driver as it’s a single track road without many passing places and a few hairpin bends. There is a restaurant on the other side of the lake that quite often plays loud music taking away the serenity of the house.

For peace and nature lovers looking for a break in an elegant paradise of calmness

We loved it! The accommodation is a 10 out of 10 in every aspect, the surrounding area a paradise of calmness—finally, the host's kindness and trust put you at ease from the first moment. I highly recommend it! Tip: ask Drasko for a boat trip and have a meal at his restaurant!

Warm and welcoming hosts - wish we could have stayed longer!

Valletta and her husband were so kind and welcoming. They presented us a feast every night and made sure we had everything we needed. The rooms were super comfortable and cosy - would highly recommend staying here. The location is asp excellent, right on the river and a little away from other guest houses.

Exceptionally beautiful location, super clean and well equipped house. Danilo, the host, was super helpful and friendly, and always available for pur questions. Right next door is a small fish restaurant. They also serve at the house and help with grocery shopping. Hiking trails in the area are not well maintained. We‘d come back nevertheless, for the beauty of the lake and views, and the hospitality of the people. Thank you for memorable vacations.

Lovely host, superb house, gorgeous setting.

Excellent facilities, everything there even stuff they don’t mention like a washing machine, dishwasher, fishing rods, beach towels . Really super accommodation. Excellent restaurant about 40m no name, no menu, but great! Boat is good but you need your ICC licence

Parking is an issue. Every time we went out someone had stolen the space

This place truly is a paradise. An idyllic village with a beautiful view. The best part of our trip!

A really nice welcome and the house is simply amazing with all the facilities you could need. Kayaking on the lake was breathtaking. A place where time just stops.

Heaven on Earth

This will be one of the holidays we will always remember. The house was really a home from home with everything we needed. We were welcomed with some generous treats, including fruit, pastries and a bottle of wine. We had a kayak which meant we could get out on to the lake and see all the beautiful birds and do some swimming in some very scenic locations. There is also a motor boat at the property and so if you have a licence that would give you more flexibility to get around. It is a good idea to get some cash before you get to the property so that you can pay for your meals in the wonderful restaurant next to the house. The restaurant has no name, no menu but serves the catch of the day. Absolutely delicious! Our only suggestion for improvement would an umbrella for the sun beds, because it was too hot to sit on the beds without shade. We are hoping to return with our motor boat licence.
