    The rooms are nice and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only downside is, it is up a long hill and there are no elevators in the hotel. So you have to be prepared to walk up a lot of stairs.

    I just want to leave an honest review for future guests. We were given a room on the 6th floor in a hotel with no elevator. Since we were staying for 5 nights, we asked if it was possible to move to a lower floor because we are in our 50s and the stairs were quite hard on our legs, but unfortunately the request could not be accommodated. The hotel is also located up a steep hill, and the road back at night was quite dark with limited lighting, which made it less convenient than expected. I also noticed that many of the positive reviews seem to be from guests staying for a shorter period, so the experience may feel different for those staying several nights. This may still suit some travellers, but it is worth considering for older guests, anyone with heavy luggage, or those who may find stairs difficult.

    Just few mins walk from the train station + shopping street.

    You have to climb a MILLION STAIRS in order to get to the hotel from the station. There is NO ELEVATOR. There are cutesy little stickers taunting you with how many calories you're burning on your way up climbing the stairs to your fourth floor room. Definitely not convenient or easy to get to at all, especially with luggage. Spend your money getting a hotel on the other side of the station closer to the beach and restaurants. Also, when we returned to the hotel after a long day carrying many items, we were going to put it down in our rooms first and then go back downstairs for our suitcases, which had been delivered earlier that day. The staff waved us over and forced us to take our luggage even though we had our hands full and could not carry them up at that moment. Also, Atami city charges a tourist tax, so beware of that. The tax is per person, per night, and adds up quick.
