Magnificent renovation of the Mas; grand design, excellent materials, countryside surroundings. Aurélie (pre-stay communication/reception/breakfast/housekeeping) very attentive, did a good job

MINOR things which let the property down. eg maintenance. Conversion was superbly done about 10? yrs ago, but minor things now look tired (iron railings etc going rusty, sauna broken); or not to today's standards (communal fridge in kitchen, but none in rooms), some everyday reception services not available (eg printing /photocopying). eg cleanliness of pool area. Water is clean but surrounding littered with (the same) cobwebs & bird s*** throughout our atay.

It was a lovely period property with exceptional renovations.

Nice staff, clean and very quiet. Nice architecture and styling.

The Internet WiFi is absolutely appallingly slow. I was getting on average 1.2mb down load and 0.2mb upload, way below the even a normal speed. This wasn't ad ised in the booking. I strongly recommend the owners looks into a star link system. The GSM signal is also patchy so don't go to this hotel if you need reliable Internet which I do. The breakfast was OK and not assdvertised as superd. No eggs the first morning. The spa was not as expected. The steam room not switched on when we arrived so we could not use it. After 7 hrs it was ready which was OK. we went for a walk fpr 2 hours, when returned it it had automatically swithced off and was cold amd unusable. The staff had left so we couldn't use it that evening. One of the main reasons for choosing this hotel was the spa.
