Het was wel even zoeken en een smal steil straatje erheen, maar de ligging en het uitzicht zijn prachtig. Het zwembad is groot genoeg voor een verfrissende plons, het uitzicht is fantastisch en er waren nooit andere gasten (er is ook een guesthouse) op het moment dat wij er waren. Ook in het appartement was het rustig, geen geluidshinder van de andere gasten. Het appartement is zeer ruim, modern en heeft maar liefst twee salons: één bij de TV en één met zicht op zee. Bijna alle ramen hebben een vliegenraam. Er is een parking, wel een smalle en steile toegang langs het huis. Vlakbij de woning kan je meteen een levadawandeling beginnen in twee richtingen. Het is ook een goede uitvalsbasis voor een aantal uitstappen (Calheta, Rabacal, Porto Moniz, ...)
De keuken is vrij basic: er is geen afwasmachine en geen gewone oven. Wel een microgolf met beperkte grillfunctie (niet geschikt voor pizza, lasagne lukte wel) Er waren maar weinig handdoeken, maar op vraag hebben we er wel extra gekregen. Buiten de levadawandelingen vlakbij heb je voor alles een auto nodig.
