Comfortable room and excellent breakfast. Lovely warm welcome from Sue and did everything she could to ensure we had a comfortable stay. I would not hesitate to recommend Cold Cotes.

The breakfast was extremely well presented and looked impeccable, good quality produce was on the plate.The scones in the room was a very nice touch, the bathrobes also a very nice homely feel.

Mark & Sue are very good hosts and made us very welcome. Breakfast was excellent. Cold Cotes is a lovely place to stay in a good location for touring the Yorkshire dales.
We were in room 5 which was very roomy with nice walk in shower. The tea making facilities however we found not so good. Being located in the wardrobe made using the tea making and the wardrobe somewhat cramped. The cord on the corded kettle was too short so we had to unplug to pour water into the mugs. ( A cordless kettle would be more useful ). The fridge being located on the floor was difficult to use especially for the more mature guest like ourselves.
