Very clean, easy walk to all attractions, canals and restaurants. Had a stylish vibe with lovely old parquet wooden floors and modern decor. Great if you prefer a boutique feel rather than a larger, bland hotel. The separate bathroom was not an issue as we were travelling as three friends (making use of the sofa bed) so the extra privacy this afforded was actually a bonus. Would definitely stay again without bothering to look for an alternative. Added bonus - we had an electric hire car and there was a charging point (together with a car park space) only about 20m from the hotel. Brilliant! Prior to finding this unexpected gem we used a general car park which was only a 5-10min walk away. We only stayed one night and left early the next day so didn't make use of the kitchen facilities, but all looked spotlessly clean and modern. Highly recommend.
I had a little trouble checking in remotely because of dodgy internet connection with my phone, so it would have been more helpful to be able access the check-in information and entry code the evening before arrival (when I had secure Wi-Fi) not post 2pm on the day (when I didn't). But my query to resend the entry code was answered straight away, so no major issue. We had an early flight so went to bed early but it was very noisy 10.30-11.30pm firstly the nearby bar then the refuse collection lorry which seemed to take ages (neither of which is the fault of the hotel). But after this it was very quiet.
