Poggio Ugo

The property is amazing. We had two one-bedroomed apartments with a shared terrace - which was a perfect arrangement for us. They were a generous size with good quality fixtures and fittings. The grounds and swimming pool are also very well maintained. Paola is a great host and was able to give us plenty of information about the area both before and during our stay. We were able to explore Florence and nearby towns and vineyards as well as having some down-time by the pool.

It's a small piece of heaven on earth.

Beautifully kept place with great facilities that gave us the relaxing stay we desperately needed. I was particularly impressed with the property’s cleanliness. We overlooked the booking information that the swimming pool would be closed during our stay for maintenance and despite this. This was our fault and we were a little sad. Paula realised this and kindly worked hard to prepare the pool so that we could at least use it for part of our stay. Her hospitality was brilliant and we would recommend this stay to anyone.

There was nothing we didn’t like, the place was superb. The only constructive feedback I gave Paula is that a small electric heater in the bedroom would be nice as nights get quite cold. There were nice thick blankets but a small heater would’ve been good to combat the cold air. Other than that I really can’t fault this beautiful place.
