Mariposa Drake

The host was so kind, friendly and accommodating. We appreciated that after a long day of driving! Our room was comfortable enough, aside from the city’s power going out for a bit due to a storm. The kind bed was very comfortable & the fans made the humidity bearable. The kitchen was well kept and made it easy for us to make breakfast before our tour. The property was also in close proximity to many restaurants and markets!

The only thing is I wish the property was a little more well marked, we struggled to find it!

Super lovely people! We arrived by boat on the beach and they picked us up there and walked us to the accomodation. We booked a 2 day corcovado tour for the day after our 1 night stay here and we could leave our luggage here for free. When we came back to pick up our luggage they also offered us a shower before we got on the boat back to Sierpe. Room was spacious and had a nice underwater mural. There is a small kitchen available with everything you need to cook an easy meal. Would stay here again!

The host is super helpful and friendly. She even gave us some home-grown spices and herbs. The rooms and bathrooms have a comfortable size and are clean. The bathroom became our favourite spot, for it was the coolest in the accomodation. There are also hammocks and seats in the comfortable garden which you share with other guests and the host family. We quickly felt at home. It was also practical that we could use the lines for drying clothes and towels.

The kitchen facilities could be better: we missed some more pans, bowls, shared herbs,... Mosquito nets would be nice as well.

The staff is very helpful and the room was very big

A sink would be nice in the morning and the kitchen equipment was very basic
