The vibes! The family, the property itself, the location, the nature, there is a wonderful energy in the air there.

The "no seem um" bugs. It's no one's fault. It's their home too! I'd prepare better by bringing some citronella spray. There was a mosquito net that helped at night. And lots of fans to blow them away while staying cool.

Good location. Friendly staff however the staff member who checked us in didn't know what room we were in and had to call someone, she didn't know how to use any of the systems including the eftpos machine. It all got sorted later when another staff member showed up.

There is no glass in the windows, when you open the shutters it is a wide open space into the courtyard, so can't leave open/air the room while out.

Very nice experience. Nice place, very simple cabin in a very green rainforest-like garden. Good bathroom. Nice hosts. They gave me a sapote colombiana to try .. such a delicious fruit. Fortunately the place is a a few 'blocks' out of the car-filled hub. Got the Mepe bus from Puerto Viejo to Manzanillo Reserve. Amazing rainforest and Sea Going again. All in all: great.

That all the food in Puerto Viejo is made with margarine, which is poison. But you can find some organic food. Namu is one very good little shop. Also, the farmers market on Saturdays is excellent. .

I liked the location. It is very central, but in a bit quieter area. The yard of the place is cute

My welcome was not great. A bit unclear and not very welcoming. The place is quite boxed in. I didn't pay much, but at least I expect it to be clean. But the room didn't feel clean and was really warm. The bed was almost a bit moist. You could open the windows, but there was no mosquito protection screen, so quite early I wanted to close the windows, but not much fresh air can come in. And I still had mosquitos. It says there is parking on the premises, but you can only park your car in the alley in front of the door. If you ask, you could maybe park in the garage, but it's not easy accessible.
